I love this, game. I suck at the game but I love it. I haven't made it past a full year in my 181 hours. But it still is amazing.

If you are PC this game is fun. If you are on pc I recommend this game. And it is more than worth it. If you are on a mac....Don't. I played most of these hours on a MAC.
Every few minutes while playing the game screen freezes, but the game continues on OSX. So if you are on a mac I would wait for a fix. Dying while near the end cause your screen freezes and you can hear the game continue in the background is......

Ok, did a check on a windows system, on windows it just works. No weird problems.

This is for OSX only:
The controls are really bad on osx. As in you can't change them normally. When you go to the setting menu you need a mouse cursor to change the settings. But there is no mouse cursor. you need to alt tab out of the game. Then select the game again and the mouse activates. Then you can change the settings. I found no way to customise the controller settings from trigger and button to a custom setting.
Getting 2 controllers to work was a pin. It wouldn't recognise the second controller without going back and forth in menu's.

Steamlink? didn't work at all. No controllers recognised.

after we got the controls to work, the game is really fun. But the settings menu needs some work on OSX

No voice audio in the game.

the 13 minutes I played were in the menu as the game keeps setting itself to the wrong resolution and the gamepad doesn't work.

Amazing. I love the fact that there are easymode options that you can use. Make the game easier bit by bit if needed. My 7 year old son can play this game. He plays at 70-90% speed. I play at 100% but we both feel awesome when we pas that insanely dificult screen. I haven't felt that rush for a long time.

Didn't work in January, now in October it still does not work. The game says it supports OSX, but it does not.

Does not work on OSX.

First problem was it does not launch if you have a dual monitor setup. Easy fix unplug one monitor. Annoying, but workable.

Second problem is it crashes immediatly when you try to play a game. When I try to launch the tutorial I get the error message game creation has failed.

After looking around on the forums, it seems the game keeps crashing for Mac users, if not immediatly it will after some time.

This game should be a PC only game.

You either be evil and kill all your followers for gems, or do a forced path finding game to get cards and gems. You have to wait a lot. No playing just wait, wait, wait. No way to quicken it. It is basically an ios game with iAP accept they removed the option to quicken the waiting time. Unless you wan to play a path finding game or kill your followers.

With waiting I mean WAITING. expand your land? Sure wait 2 days. Not in game time real time! Yup really fun. But wait, you can play the path finding game while waiting for two days! Except when you mess up a section or the path finding decides to not work, or the selecting of the edges keeps grabbing the wrong edge etc. You fail the section and then if you don't have enough followers you have to wait. around 40 minutes to an hour.
So most hours I spend in this game where not actually playing the game but having it on in the background While I waited for things to happen.

edit: The mandatory boat missions have changed a tad. They are less annoying. Still if you wanted a god game, this is not it. It is still a do boat travel puzzles game, with some landscaping tacked on to it. Also be prepared to have your followers leave you cause you can't keep them happy. Also cool is that the party time of the other tribe (in my case) alway seems to happen at times that I am asleep. So I can't counter them or try to destroy them with meteors. It used tobe every hour or something, now it is every 24 hours. Just sucks if they happen in the middle of the night.
These type of games shouldn't be linked to real world time. There should be a fastforward button.
