Brilliant storytelling and writing, engaging visuals, and a great soundtrack.

The blinking mechanic, something I was worried would be more of a gimmick than anything else, adds a lot to the experience of the game.

I would recommend not reading too much about the game, if it seems appealing to you, buy it and play it blind.
