Definitely not a game that a company should have gone under upon releasing it. Very very very good Piranha Bytes-style CRPG, exploration is among the best you'll find in the genre, a truly huge map to explore that is densely packed with goodies and hidden caches, so much content and Skills and LOOT and... well you get the idea. Top shelf CRPG if you ask me but I'm just a nobody who loves RPGs... RIP PB Long Live Piranha Bytes and greatly looking forward to their new work as Pithead, which the owners of PB put together as a new dev studio. Cheers guys thanks for reading!

P.S. Should also make a comment about the Bestiary in the game, soooo freaking cool, not only the actual text-based Bestiary which describes all the monsters, but the huge variety of creatures in the game to discover and fight against, really remarkable stuff they pulled off there and makes the open-world a real joy to explore. Def had to mention that!

Sad to see this one go away, it's got a great foundation and what it offers is very cool, if a bit different than typical Dungeons & Dragons SRPGs... Once it warms up there's a very addictive and fun game which will keep you playing for more and more upgrades, finding new items and progressing in the interesting story and quests. Def didn't deserve to die but if you are lucky and own the game it's def worth a play. Cheers all thanks for reading!

Fantastic simulation/strategy game. Really addictive building your clan up and making moves, with really nice text 'cutscenes' with great art explaining the history and lore as it happens in realtime during your game. Fun stuff.

Game is absolute fire! Still updated from 2015 to 2024 and probably beyond, very cool dedication by the dev to stick with it and really craft something special. Greatly enjoying my time with it and a must if you're at all into space sim RPGs or even logistical fun like Shadow Empire etc.. (although it's way easier and less complex than Shadow Empire, don't worry!) Cheers dev and thanks for creating such a cool gem!

***UPDATE*** - So the dev was kind enough to add a save-on-exit mode for the game! Awesome stuff. :) Now we can continue our progress towards rescuing our girl Zhi! :)

Original review - VERY cool RPG, sadly it needs a save feature, a feature which with we could really play at our own pace. Otherwise though it's pure gold really, lots of options, lots of scavenging, hiring new peeps, equipping them and crafting and so much more. Fun combat with a lot of options and leveling up to learn even more Skills. Even has a pretty nifty card game you can play for money called Strigtig. I dig this, wish it was expanded upon even further. Cheers dev! :)

Stellar effort by one of the best indie devs going imo - Corrosion Studios LLC! The dev(s) have major talent at making really compelling and awesome CRPGS in RPGMaker, using fresh assets and having some of the most remarkable and rewarding character progression, itemization, exploration and more. Very authentic ancient Japan right here, right down to all of the weapon and armor names & more. And this game is right up there with another great they've made, Lawless Lands, as some of their best work. Cheers devs! :)

Absolutely CRAZY RPG! So much potential and what's there now is amazing imo. Very Kenshi-like even, but with slick turn-based combat and some interesting twists on features. Definitely a keeper for real so don't overlook this gem! :)

Absolutely SMASHING GOOD CRPG here! The attention to detail is massive (like the game, too) and ranges from visual graphics and audio to the divine subtleties when building your character or your army. Really really good stuff here, they legit made a massive and meaningful KB game in third-person here, complete with a billion loot caches to find! Bravo devs! :)

*Very* cool 'Action' RPG, in the vein of something like early Ys where you 'bump' into enemies to do damage to them, or you can cast spells or use a bow etc. as well. Really sweet stuff with a TON of RPG depth here, don't let the pixelated graphics fool u, quite a bit of stats and tabletop-style interactions are happening behind the scenes here that impress! One of my favorite finds from 2024, for sure. The dev(s) also are listening and will include some of your suggestions as well if it's something that works for the game. Very interesting title and playable for solo RPG fans like myself. Don't sleep on this one! :)

I have to say, these devs pulled off creating a FUN yet deep and interesting (and genuine) Souls-like here! It definitely sticks to the script while also having a few little twists of its own, but it's very true to an actual, real Souls-like. Has a challenge too and is definitely worth checking out I'd say, if Souls-likes are your thing. Cheers! :)
