Look most Destiny 2 players hate the game for there own reason but one thing all players can agree on is the story and lore is AMAZING. I wish Bungie didn't have to lay off more people (the OG's if you will). For them to charge $20 every few months to be able to play the current story is respectable because this game claims its live service but I miss how this game felt 2 years ago doing day 1 Deep Stone Crypt with my clan and just seeing new thing was amazing. But sadly all good things end with time. For Destiny 2 if your thinking of playing it the game play loop is okay the exotic drops from raids make it sometimes repetitive. and the weekly story mission for the current season makes the game have large moments of drought. I have been a fan of this game series since I was 10 i and now 19 turning 20 and it just sucks to see how Bungie is taking the game. The best parts of this game is meeting new people though LFG'S and having common goals to get certain exotic. I met so many amazing people to share this games awesome experience but it pains me that Bungie locks old content in a vault so if new players want to see the Red War or Forsaken they have to go to youtube and watch a video about it. With sun-setting no longer being a thing it made the games future look brighter but them putting strand into lightfall didnt make any sense and the lack of context with the veil also didnt make any sense till a year later. But if your looking for a free to play game and dont care about investing to much time into this game and its story go play fortnite. But if you want a game that every weapon has paragraphs of lore on them and characters you can love for there personality then play this but be ready to spend at least $80. You don't need to sync a lot of time into this game but if you can get 3-6 people then you'll be making amazing memory's with them. Some of my most memorable memory's was playing destiny 1 and 2 with my friends and random people that became my friends. I can only hope that Final shape is as good as it looks but for now we have to wait. If anyone who reads this review and trys the game out I hope to see you fellow gaurdians out on a patrol or maybe we can be doing raid together.
