"Stick with Trigger and you'll make it."
Picked this up on a recent sale for 15 bucks and fell in love. After I beat the main story I immediately went and bought the 3 DLC missions to get just a little bit more of it. It's not realistic at all, and it doesn't have to be. It makes you feel like the badass main character of your own over-the-top fighter pilot anime and it does it well. You spend your time doing breakneck high-g maneuvers, blowing stuff up, and getting hyped by the soundtrack. Everyone's a gangsta until the sky starts singing in Latin...

You never quit, you just take breaks.
My steam playtime still isn't close to accurate.

Fun game. Even more fun with friends. Loads of replay value.
Highly recommend everyone has this one in their library.

The glory days have passed. Game was ruined by mobile game-ification. It's also been passed up in terms of quality by other Battle Royale genre games.

Game has had fun states that have actually been rather enjoyable. However, this game releases updates that COMPLETELY turn the game onto its head and ruin any and all consistency it has going for it and then they change it again 4 days later. As of this last update, the game is in its worst state to date. Rinse, Repeat, Uninstall.

If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and play it.

Blew my expectations away. When this game was announced and launched, I expected an underwater version of Amnesia, but this is actually a lot more. I always looked forward to finding more answers rather than looking forward to the next hostile encounter. The game changes it's scenery frequently enough so that nothing gets stale. The overall plot and premise is also very interesting.

Good atmospheric horror and story without being over the top.

This game is incredible and what makes it so good, is the variety of ways you can play it alongside the amazing levels of customization

Want to play a Mil-Sim? Arma 3 has your back, with Land, Sea, and Air combat options. Stay frosty.
Want to play an Open World Zombie Survival? Arma 3 Breaking Point has you wondering who to trust, and who to kill over a can of beans.
Want to play a City/Island Life RolePlay as a Police Officer, Drug Dealer, or various other occupations? Arma 3's gotchu

This only scratches the surface of this games vast communities, but you get the point.
The game's players are dedicated and very productive when it comes to making mods, and that's because Bohemia Interactive ALLOWS FULL ACCESS for players to do so, knowing that the players know what they want, and know how to create and tailor it best, while they improve the core game's functionality. This full access has also led to many scripts and "hax" being made, but their Anti-Cheat has evolved to counter most, if not all, in the recent years. Even if it doesn't catch one, it's incredibly likely that an Admin in your selected community will handle the problem himself.

Having dumped hundreds of hours into both ARMA 2 and ARMA 3, and taking party in many of the mods made by the community, I can confidently say that these are my favorite games and I would absolutely recommend this game to any friend or fellow gamer. The games go on sale very often so if you want to save a few moneybucks, you can wait for those, otherwise I encourage any and all to become part of this game and join one of the many communities within it.
