There are several different kinds of people you will encounter in this game

1. The know it all - who thinks they're always right, know all the smokes and secrets, and whose fault it never is when the round is lost
2. Salty Smurf - who will criticise the heck outta you, even if they're worse
3. The kids who scare the heck outta you when they first talk - that's right, twelvies
4. The hack accusers - whenever these kids are killed they're gonna instantly call hacks, legit shot or not
5. The troll - who we all love to be, and love to hate, no matter the team
6. The genuine player - who is generally a good player who tries and tries to keep their team spirits high

With the possibility of playing a with these people why wouldn't you get CS:GO?!?!

There are other reasons too, there is plenty of humour, sometimes you will drop to the floor laughing

updates are large but who cares. it has many servers for all countries/continents which makes it easily acesible to players around the world.
