An absolutely engaging and wonderful game. This is one of those gems that lingers in your library for a while ominously taunting you. I'm going to break this review up in a few sections. The game lets you explore what it's like to be a hacker. Well more of a stereotypical movie meme hacker, but still that's a perk here. You should expect to be snooping into people's computers, reading their emails, and finding all of their dirty secrets. With that in mind this game plays more like an information-gathering puzzle simulator.

1. Gameplay
This may be the biggest "fear" new players may have after viewing the trailer. This game involves typing out commands in a terminal, but really it's just similar to a "text based" adventure with commands. If you're new to using a CMD line (terminal) this is a perfect engaging way to become more familiar with how it works. Just like any new game once you get familiar with the controls you'll breeze through it. There is a clean graphic user interface that makes navigating the game environment (with your mouse) very intuitive. You are taught how to play in a standard tutorial so you're not just thrown out into the ocean expecting to be a 1337 h@ck0r. You will encounter several high and low points that will continue to test what you've learned. At no point in the game did I feel like it was repetitive. You will have time to become familiar with your tools and soon after your tools will grow, allowing you to tackle harder and more complex hacker challenges.

2. Story
No spoilers. I can say that there is a story and that you will be highly involved with in. There is a lot of mysteries, and plenty of interesting characters to learn about. I should mention that each new play through of the game will have many events randomized. In addition the story continues in the DLC and that I found it totally worth it.

3. Graphics
I find the graphics to be a nice blend between modern techno sci-fi and retro website design. It's actually quite an interesting blend of styles that seems to work out well. I can safely say this isn't just a game where you look into singular black box and type commands.

4. Final Thoughts
It's good. I personally had some doubts but once I started playing I couldn't stop. I wouldn't be leaving a review if I didn't think it deserved more attention.
