Hows the campaign? First few missions were fun but got boring as it went on. I get not giving us a full compliment of units for some missions but it really just boils down to trying to recon out the RU atgm positions that will snipe your brads and abrams, there arent any unscripted enemy scouts to conduct counter recon on, just atgms from the cold war with better visibility and detection than a modern day American offensive vehicle. No real intensity, just spam till you finally kill all the long range anti armor so you can then wipe the floor with your armor. Also How are you winning every battle and every mission yet the storyline tells you you are getting crushed? not a single mission felt like a fighting retreat, a win the battle lose the war fight. On top of the worsening voice acting it just makes very little sense.

Dont play campaign then? well...
Every single strategy game ive played since Starcraft has allowed for some form of skrimish with ai friendly bots vs enemy bots.

-Civilization -Steel Division -Total War -Regiments -Starcraft -age of empires
and so many more. This Game? Nah, pretty sad tbh.

then you are stuck with multiplayer (which btw the game threw me into the minute i launched the game for
the first time for some reason?) first match even with stock deck was fun and exciting but in reality we only won because a few of the enemy players timed out (manually or by actual error) and then we wiped the remaining enemies. After that its just been one sided BS where RU decks seem to be able to advantage better infantry with cheaper ifvs and cheaper arty to win the match.

not really sure how I feel about this DLC. while probably a good deal with the price I was definitely dissapointed with the lack of detail to many of the finer points, especially coming from a team that prides their historical accuracy.

Right off the bat they did not get ranks, positions, helmet insignia, etc right on what would be the most scrutinized area which are the Easy company missions. Of course every will know the Spade helmet designator, that Luz was the radio OP for Carentan not a Squad leader, and that Compton was an officer not an enlisted soldier. I also would have expected a bit more unit skins but besides the new medic I dont really see anything new or special. A post on reddit mentioned the uniform inaccuracies with Uniform type, boot type, etc. and I agree.

mission wise they need to chill with the enemy mortars. while a real part of war they are far too obnoxious to deal with and you spend the entire game fighting your way to them with single digit micro manage to avoid incoming rounds. even more obnoxious on defense missions because good luck getting to the mortars as the blow away all the cover you had just setup your guys in the last 2-4 prep phase minutes. On the carentan mission i did capture both mortars but then the mission decides to crop your battle space for no reason and suddenly my medic was on the mortar alone outside the boundaries. unable to move or dismount and return to the AO. There is a point IMO that you can overmanage a player and these missions definitely felt like it.

ive havent touched this game since January which is so sad considering I still play skyrim and fallout off and on. Absolute disappointment of a game that couldnt even live up to cyberpunk let alone any game from 2023-2024. souless, empty, colorless, boring, copy paste, bland, cliche in a bad way, unimaginative, risk adverse yet risky being so inclusive.

SP missions are either boring or contain little content. The armored patrol mission is somewhat exciting but I got spammed with radio commands and changing primary tasks as I assume it glitched out.

not worth the price if you are a SP person

I cant go 3 games anymore without someone hacking. I average 2-3 kda in tactical slayer and then even on my best maps get ♥♥♥♥ on before i even come around a corner. Ill stand still in some non spawn or camping spots and these dudes will have my head on a platter before i can even react. get your anticheat together, make the multiplayer 2fa, and get rid of this free ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. even if you do ban someone free games just allow them to come right back

My wife's boyfriend doesnt know im playing on his PC right now. hopefully i can defeat the banished and save my marines before he catches me.

Group movements are entire counter productive since the enemy just grenade spams you. You dont gain money over time so youve got what youve got and find yourself restarting the mission at the first grenade spam instead of waiting to buy reinforcements. Your troops die super easy but the enemy seems to be better.

Honestly I recommend it for having halo on your PC but thats it. Gun play just doesnt feel right, maybe its because my mouse doesnt vibrate or its the audio sounding like it's straight out of 100kbps ipod gen1. I find no love in letting off a mag of AR ammo into Hunters like I did feeling the surge of the weapon on xbox. Needless to say in the mouse and keyboard MP world non precision weapons are all but useless when you have kids playing this game 24/7 hitting every headshot whenever wherever. This is no longer a casual FPS that everyone can enjoy. I tried to lower the game volume and the game entirely froze and i had to restart after hitting save settings

Can be really immersive but the majority of the time you find yourself running across the entire map because you dont have any other spawn and no one is running transpo so all the vehicles are somewhere across the map. Just get Post Scriptum
