Nearly the exact same thing we had 4 years ago, still some bugs to work out, I'll update this in a later time.

A game I initially disliked.

Coming from the Mount and Blade community, I had a great disdain for the game that- at the time- had Terrible mechanics, shallow gameplay.

It's not mount and blade, and it's not trying to be.

The gameplay is fairly rigid, shooting is a bit of a tall order at the longer ranges, it puts emphasis on having the unit volley fire instead of lone wolfing it.

Visuals are beautiful. Accurate portrayal of uniforms for both sides.

I think it to be more of a re-enactment simulator than anything else.

My advice, join a regiment and attend private events. The people there tend to have more of an appreciation for the game and era than most public server casuals.

The sequel to the original killing floor.

Never have I played a game where shooting things was as satisfying as it is displayed here.
-The hitboxes are spot on
-The response when bullets or stabby-slashy elements hit the monster ( INCREDIBLE )
-Plenty of guns(superb animations) and perks to mix up your playstyle
-the stock maps are good, but there's gems of custom maps out there. (zedexpress_V3 comes to mind)
-character customization options(hats anyone?)

The kind of game you can throw away a couple hours at, come back and have a good time. I don't recommend binge play, but if grind is your game. By all means.

One of the classics, and still brings just as much content as the modern titles. I remember playing this on the original xbox way back.

It's still a keeper for me, You can get a lot of time out of this one. Might even be a few mods floating around for it.

STEAMPUNK GUNS? ARE YA' KIDDIN' ME?

From the Top:
DR-T's (Tommy gun) Pretty much a better version of the rising storm Tommy gun. It is more accurate and can maintain longer distance shooting, otherwise your standard SMG. It throws plenty of lead and that's what it's good at doing.

The Orca bomb thrower: A fun little number, this thing is like a mini m79 in a way, very different, though. The bombs like to slide along the floor - so try for direct hits. The explosions are pretty good. Firing at extremely close distances will cause the bombs to hit and not detonate, but they will after a short time. Kinda' cool.

The Piston musket: Not really sure what to say about this one, it's an upgraded lever action with a scope and might be a little expensive to use in harder difficulties when better things are available.

the zed thrower: My absolute favorite. It's like a poor man's aa12. I get pancor jackhammer vibes from it and love the look of the thing. It also has an alternate fire that 'pushes' back enemies. Not that great, but it's saved my hide a few times.

A good pack, must have if you're still playing this in 2019.

Richard Wiggins is a beast, Hands down one of my favorite characters in the game.

A good pack if you're looking to expand your skins in game.

Pretty good quality steampunky characters.

Each are tailored after a class in the game, so you'll have something for everything you play.

Incredibly cool and inovative.

A game that prides itself on complicated systems. Not something you can just pick up and play.
