I wish I had this as a kid. It's everything I loved from RTC, and much much more. If I had more time, I would spend it here in this game making tons of parks. As for the time I spent with it, the only problems I had were with performance issues with large parks, but this is to be expected with massive rides and custom buildings.

While being somewhat diffrent than the familiar Simcity games, Tropico 3 can offer fans of the city-building franchise a placeholder that should last for a few months or so. I'd say buy it at no more than $15 or $20, as if you play through it constantly, it can get old, but not so fast that it shouldn't last awhile.
