Spike is still alive!

Well what a surprise this game turned out to be.

If you are an old fart like me you'll remember the arcade game Robotron2084. Well, this game is the same but with more complexity and just as addicting as it was back then. It may be the best Robotron clone on Steam at the moment and it is truly bloody addictive, makes me go back to my childhood and remember all the coins spent on the arcade and all the time spent on the ports of the arcade, especially Jeff Minter's Llamatron on the Amiga.

Fully recommended and a blast to play!

Chris Sawyer's magnus opum was, IMO, Transport Tycoon Deluxe. It was, and still is, one of the best tycoon's ever made, better than most tycoon games made nowadays in fact despite the graphics being a constant reminder that this is a 90s game.

OpenTTD picked up TTD and improved it in every possible aspect, making a great tycoon game even better. This game is so good that it pretty much blows away the vast majority of modern tycoon games. This game makes you constantly think about your next move, and makes you use your money carefully. In short, it's hard and that's something you no longer see in tycoon games nowadays.

So in short, if you want to play one of the best tycoon games ever made that still holds up to this very day, download and play this. If you are a tycoon game lover you won't regret it.

ABANDONED GAME, BEWARE

I am an original kickstarter backer for this game. I thought the game was worth a shot based on the features and content they promised for the game during the campaign.

5 years later and a good deal of the content promised during the campaign has been cut, removed or won't be implemented at all. In fact the devs are going to abandon the game soon after release.

I can't help but think of Spacebase DF-9, the devs ran out of money or got tired of making the game and simply released the incomplete mess as it is.

I can't recommend this game at any pricepoint. It is an abandoned game with most promised features cut or not even implemented. The devs just did a cut and run and they should not be rewarded for that.

Not recommended, at all.
