Path of Exile was the first true sandbox ARPG with tons of decisions, choices and player agency

PoE2 wants to streamline and plan everything for you, From skills and supports that are supposed to be used together to the passive trees that severly limit options and even got downgraded with the removal of jewel sockets. now your even more pidgeonhold into your starting area without real options to travel to other parts of the tree (also no way to travel through the middle section)
Endgame is slow and unrewarding for the amount of time the devs want you to spend in it

i wish for the game to be good but currently its just not.

When other developer studios start saying that gamers should not expect this game to become the new standard of RPG's, you know it has to be great. I actively had to stop me from playing EA to leave as much of it to release as possible

Finished the game, simply a masterpiece. quite sad there wont be any similar experience for many years to come. Larian you knocked every ones expectations out of the park

It has its rough edges with the optimization and the re used bosses

but the shear scope of the game is unbelievable, if you dont rush through with a guide this game offers an easy 70 hours+ in the first playthrough

the game kept blowing my mind with just getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
