This game has grown and continues to grow a lot with each update or "season" bringing new content and balance changes to the game, new content includes things like new Operators with new gadgets but no new weapons anymore, I don't know what season the recycled weapons started but the reason that the R6 developers gave for the lack of new weaponry was licensing issues and having to jump through hoops for new guns and the rights to use them in their games. This makes total sense to me when it was explained because I understand that gun licensing is very expensive for companies and things, I do think that they could add more weapons if they branch out to providers like Israel Weapons International who are the manufacturers of guns like the Galil, Jericho, Negev and a few others then they can get more variety because IWI has stated in the past that they have no issue with allowing game companies to use their weapons in their games, look at CSGO, it uses the Galil and the Negev and there's no issue there. Moving on from the recycled weapons, some of the balancing changes they have made in the past have been... controversial to say the least but they have always resulted in improved gameplay in one way or another. To finish this review off I'll mention the lack of variety for people who play certain ops, People like Warden are never chosen, reason is his gadget sucks. Sometimes Ubi has dropped the ball on certain ops but I mean, with 58(this number could be wrong) in the game at the time of this review, including Operation Steel Wave, you would have to admit it must be getting a little bit difficult to make interesting and useful gadgets every time a new season is developed and released. You could argue and say that all they need is good creativity, but even then it must be getting difficult for them, Especially with balancing. I haven't even mentioned much of the gameplay in this review, only the growth of the game, the gameplay has a rather steep learning curve but with enough practice and a little dedication it is possible to get very good at the game, with the amount of operations I previously mentioned there is no shortage of people to learn, just find someone who fits your play style and practice them a lot. In Conclusion: Rainbow Six Siege is very expansive and rather complex with all the gadgets available, but it is a game that can be taken easy with no real pressure on the player. If you like FPS games that reward patience and some strategy, Rainbow Six Siege might be for you.
