First, I feel I need to give the obligatory "Hey, Hey People" because if it weren’t for Sseth I would have never found this absolute gem of a game. Now onto the main review:

Underrail is a fantastic game that bridges the divide between old-school turn-based RPG's like the original Fallout series and brings them into the modern era by allowing a more user-friendly experience without sacrificing the quality of the story. This game, much like the original Fallout series, does not hold your hand regarding difficulty. You will generally find out about 7-8 hours into a playthrough whether your build is viable or not which may lead some to quit the game (Including me). However, If you, like every other person who has beaten this game, have the borderline autistic level of patience and determination needed to overcome this harsh introduction, you will discover a game rich in story and genuinely interesting and enjoyable gameplay. I also feel it is necessary to mention that this game was (I think) made by a team of 10 people which I find astonishing given the level of detail and depth that appears in this game. I suppose this review mostly echoes the sentiments shared in Sseth’s video, but I felt the need to share my feelings so that hopefully if someone who is on the fence about trying this game reads this, they might buy it and give it a shot.

To conclude this near plagiaristic review, despite some of the more tedious and rougher patches of the game, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed about 95% of this game and I am thankful that this was my first real introduction to the world of turn-based RPG’s.
