I bought Andromeda on Origin before it became available on Steam, right as it released. Yes, there were bugs, yes the animation was a little less than what people came to expect, but as the game got patched, it fixed a lot of it. What I found was a game that had echos of the previous Mass Effect games without the requirement of a military feel to it. If you're looking for more romps with Commander Shepard or someone similar, this isn't your game. If you're willing to see that there's more to the Mass Effect universe than the military, then I strongly recommend it!

While the game has it's fair share of combat, there's a lot more of a sandbox feel to it, and a lot of unlocking of elements of the game, which requires a lot of exploration. My only complaint is that they decided against making DLC for the game. I would have loved to see more. Here's hoping the next Mass Effect doesn't leave Andromeda out of it!
