I would like to point out that the game does crash, but there are a number of fixes out there (just google it and run through them, one will eventually fix it). I haven't done any fixes, just to test these crashes, and they happen about once every 3-4 hours or so (if they happen more often, its clearly something wrong with your system, or maybe just a faulty download). Its actually a nice reminder to get off the PC for a bit and move my legs.

There are also a lot of random freezing in the game. THIS IS NO FAULT WITH THE GAME AT ALL. This is caused by the new Nvidia drivers (there have been other games reporting this issue too). Just roll back or reinstall the 446 update one and it will be fixed.

Now that is out of the way...

This game is arguably the last "assassin" game. After this, they do feel more like an RPG than the unique style of games that Ubisoft produced (not that its a bad thing). If you're a fan of Assassin's Creed, there is no reason to not get this game. If you are looking to get into the Assassin's Creed franchise, go get Assassin's Creed 1 and work your way from there.

That being said, I wouldn't say that the game is worth the money out of sale. Just wait for a sale to get this game. You should be able to get the gold one for around £20 (which includes the DLC).

It has been 7 years since I have played this game (originally on the XBOX 360). I decided to pick up all of the AC games to play through them all on PC before Origins came out.

All I can say is I can't believe I forgot how great this game is. Seriously. This is a game that, if came out today, would still easily be a best seller. The story is well done, the game world is just incredible and vast, and it feels so alive!

If you are looking to get lost in a game over the summer then I highly advise this game, especially if you haven't played it! It is a must for every game collection! I would also say that the price it is during the Summer Sale is pretty much a steal as well!

This game does get a lot of flack. Some I would agree are justified, but it almost feels like its a "cool to hate" situation.

The story is dark, the character building is intense, the scenary is gripping.

I would 100% recommend this to someone who would like to get lost in a world that feels alive. To someone who wants a very compelling story that will take you along many twists and turns.

This is where it all began.

The game has definitley aged a lot, and you can see that. The graphics are sub-par for this day and age. The quests are very repetitive. The mechanics are very clunky. But, when this game was released, it was cutting edge. It helped define RPG games that came after it.

If you can look past that this is an old game, I highly recommend it. Or, if you haven't played an Assassin's Creed game before, you need to play this one. This is where the series started.

Honestly too easy to get lost in. Must try, cheezy humor and brilliant with friend! The best games to say it is like is Leauge of Legends and Castle Crashers.
