Terrible remaster that adds few QoL fixes and nothing else.

Pros:

- You automatically collect the ammo
- There's an in-game map
- You can use modern resolutions

Cons:

- No bugs were fixed: Enemies still fall through the map, pathfinding 100 % broken for AI etc.
- New bugs added: Moxxi Underdome music disappears whenever it feels like it, never addressed.
- You STILL need to edit .ini file to remove mouse acceleration. Some QoL changes that are possible to change from. ini, crash the game
- There's a memory leak that was never fixed, no matter how much community tried to raise the issue
- Randy Pitchford is still in charge
- Borderlands 4, despite all the half-assed stuff in the remaster is advertised in the main menu like a mobile game pop-up and is the only thing that 100 % works in this case.

Gunplay is decent but don't ever buy this at full price. I paid 3 euros and while it was and is for a nostalgic factor, it's the only price the remaster deserves.

Season 1 is pretty much fun. It has promise, really fun gameplay (mixed) and good old Tekken with Heat attached.

Heat needs to be balanced, just like top tiers that have oppressive stuff. Move tracking and hitboxes need to be adjusted. Netcode as well.




Season 2: Nothing is addressed and instead developers doubled down on stuff the community hates.

Absolutely great fun with friends and something that is breath of fresh air after multiple live service games that were middle-finger to players. Pure gameplay and fun, what else you need?

Teamwork is also required in order to survive which is a great plus. Friendly fire of course is enabled and it doubles the fun.

(2025) it's still great fun but some glitches and especially optimization should be a priority.

Easily the best Battle Royale there is if you ask me. Gunplay is good which matters the most. Character abilities support the gameplay rather than defining it.

While the game is great, there's constant server issues, especially when the update is released
