This was my first Lego game, as a recent born-again gamer. I like the casualness of these Lego games, just enough action and puzzles to keep you interested and unwind after work or on the weekend. The controls aren't too complicated, which I like, and each character has one or more special things that you may need as you beat the game, and when you come back to re-play during Free Play to get all the collectibles and achievements. I was able to relive some of the fun of the movie, which was nice too.
