There is something off with it, the first 4 games had perfect hit registration, the following few it got worse, now i can stand point blank with a shotgun a with neither player moving for a total off 104 damage. I dont know how theyve done it but i genuinely believe this game has skill based hit registration, so if you are infact good enough only 1/5 of your bullets are hitting. Also the game heavily HEAVILY uses the hit client to send messages not the firing client which means snipers are virtually useless.

Cant recommend a game where the creators just lock content behind a paywall that used to be free. If i could still refund this now piece of garbage i would. No reason to play after theyve done that, they're writing isnt good enough to be justified as a $35 AU game and a $7 DLC.

So after a short read of an is it worth it post I'm going to give a honest review about my experience so far.
TL;DR at bottom;

I want to start off by saying this game is amazing and pre-release i've thrown probably 6 days at it so far. The dev is amazing and is endorsed by Jagex which opens up a lot of opportunity for game development. The game play is virtually what you expect runescape as a text based game to be and its amazing.

It is missing a few things like quests and some skills but the game is still heavily under development. There are a few rare bugs but if you check the games github you'll see the dev working tirelessly to fix problems.

It is grindy as hell if you go for maxing 1 skill at a time, i mean grindy as hell, currently 2 days 9 hours into fishing and only level 87 on my alt. Whilst i talk about time spent doing this, there are rare drops. They're insanely rare, so rare in fact that in the time ive spent doing this fishing i havent gotten a single drop of either rings of Skill or Mastery and i havent gotten the fishing necklace. That being said i honestly dont care, they're items i'll probably get over night grinding it out or tomorrow while i fish whales.
Regardless i have a clear path of what i want to do. On my main im lost as fk but am lvl 70 in all skills so it doesnt matter, i can sell everything and start lvling a skill and have what i need in a few hrs to days.

When you get down to it tho the game is insanely complex. Everything from hidden stats to progression paths for the most xp/s. Combat is even more complex with massive combat levels thrown at you and only your only weapon is your knowledge of item combinations and skill combinations. Or just vibe and do things slowly, it isnt a race and is purely singleplayer.

The game has cloud saving. Yes cloud saves, which means you buy this bad boy here you also get it on your smartphone (if its not a potato; even then it might work). This doesnt work in reverse apparently. You must buy it on steam first.

No microtransactions at all and free future updates (tho i think some should be dlc like dungeoneering if its added as a skill with a large amount of content/dungeoneering skills)

My only other suggestions are friends list, trading between friends and group ironman.

TL;DR
- Massive complex game (if you want it to be)
- Weeks of content if not more
- Active dev with active bug fixes
- Still massively under development
- Multiple character saves
- NO IN GAME MICROTRANSACTIONS!!!!!

Great game for people just starting to get into the sim racing world. Some things are super unrealistic like the way the cars acts when they begin to lose traction, game turns the car as if your driving on ice and completely disregards any user input making it impossible not to spin out in almost every situation. Quite easy to fix though, just don't go off track at all in the slightest. Also dont go through dips too quick, you spin out.

Other great things are fully controllable dynamic weather. Not may games allow this much control. The track selection is also great as well as car selection. Some cars even allow for special H shifter patterns, the manual mode also auto blips and stalls but unfortunately you cant turn this off. Online is pretty toxic as almost every time you join a race your almost always going to be involved in a crash at one point.

Somehow single player is much worse then online. Overtaking in single player will tell you to return to previous position. This only happens offline.

Its a very decent starter game, if your looking for pure realism maybe play ACC or IRacing.

To be fair you need to spend atleast $60 usd, think of it as buying the game for real. Use all your cash to get tier 3 pets, if $60 wasn't enough ten add more. With your left overs buy inventory space or weight. Weight is more needed IMO. Good luck.

I only own forza and the base version wont even allow testing to see if it works. Wouldnt trust buying anything from something i cant test.

Its a nice game but honestly the physics system is very broken. I would rate it around 2/10 mainly because its just not fun being a ping pong ball bouncing off a leaf on the side of the road to make you completely lose control of a front wheel drive car at 30km/h. Also there is something wrong with turning. Apparently you cant turn a car going faster then 10km/h. Dont even get me started on snow which should be renamed to ICE. Driving on snow tracks is awesome if you want to know what its like to drive on an ice skating rink.

I personally wouldn't spend money on this game, maybe buy need for speed hot pursuit from the 1980's because NFS has better physics and on par graphics.

Other then being completely unrealistic this game is fun to run into trees but thats about it. Hot wheels cars drift better.

Unless you can get this game free AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

2019 and still the best hack simulator there is. Its almost impossible to get banned and you can use any cheat you can find. Plus now the games free :D

Edit: Its 2020 and once again i find myself playing hack sim

Edit 2: so its 2021 and i still cannot believe how bad this game has gotten, every time i play i want to gouge out my own eyes. The amount of blatant cheaters and lack of working anti-cheat is disgusting.

Edit 3: 2024 edition - Still one of the worst game ive played, cs2 didnt nothing but upgrade graphics, hitboxes are still broken and cheaters everywhere.
