One would assume, firstly, you have read the full comment, "(requirement for ALL 50th members to be in it)." As a 50th Steam group member, and a 50th member (at no point did you indicate you were not a full member), you are required to join the steam group. If you're too inept to simply read plain English, that is your problem.

At no point in that comment was there any advertisement of anything whatsoever, simply me telling you that as a member of the 50th, you're required to join.

Conversely, if I were to be advertising, I don't really care if you have 'given me permission', because if you actually read the terms of agreement in the website (something again, you are required to read), you would see that you need not ask permission to ask permission to advertise, as you may have rights to the games purchased, and the name of the profile, however you have no full ownership of this profile, and any of the groups in/on it. Well I never think that I gave you permission to use my profile to advertise, and I may be in your group but that is out of cutesty if I ever will need to get back into regiments.
The only reason I am in it is because if I have to time to merc for you.... And I will not tolerate snide comments towards me.
