Combining deckbuilding with golf is a great concept for a game. There's lots of fun cards too, but you'll end up mostly using the basic ones because they're the most reliable. But what annoys me most is the frustrating level design. You'll often get stuck in the geometry and waste multiple shots getting out. Water kills you instantly, and theres no good way around them because the terrain is often curved towards it. There's only a handfull of setpieces which are shuffled randomly for each level, you've soon seen it all. And the camera is probably your worst enemy, especially in the dungeon. I'll often miss my shots because of it. Taking risks never seems to be worth it. Best way to play seems to be to ignore all the coins and crystals.
All in all it's a frustrating experience.

This was an unexpected masterpiece. It's so much fun! Lot's of variety in gameplay mechanics and so many nods to classic gaming tropes. Loved the plot, loved pretty much everything
