There's this huge sense of satisfaction when you make progress and get farther than you ever have before.

My first run took 13 hours.
My second took 40 minutes.

20% of my playtime is queueing for games
30% is actually playing
and the last 50% has been customizing leadouts and repainting mechs.

the PVE is fun.

PVP on the other hand is a mess of high level players bringing legendary weapons to low powerscore games to make new players miserable, and the only counter seems to be spending real money on overpriced vehicle packs, or getting stomped for months while you try to craft anything decent or earn enough coins from the marketplace to buy anything worth taking.

the last straw that drove me to leaving a negative review was when I bought the battlepass, and all the event materials I saved up disappeared at 5pm when the event ended before I could redeem them.

Building a car is fun, but if you aren't building to the meta you might as well not queue.

When I told my friend that I was on my fourth playthrough, they asked me "Is it really that good?"
my response was "No. But I really like it."

Prey reminded me of the things I liked about System Shock 2 and Deus Ex, with a much appreciated modern polish. It's a game about exploring a space station that feels like it could be real, piecing together what happened through e-mails and audiologs, and it's about using the tools avaliable to you to find clever ways to traverse the station, unlock doors and even gain advantages in combat.

I HIGHLY recommend trying the demo. It let's you explore the first few areas of the game, and it was what sold me on purchasing the full version. I really didnt expect to love the game this much

Early Access Review
When I first played this game I just built larger and larger catapaults.
once I had finished that I started making walking machines. tanks with drills. multi-shot gatling cannons. so on and so forth

now I have a fully functioning gyrocopter capable of any task (albeit with varying efficiency)

This game has given me a very real sense of accomplishment, and I love it.

Remind me of a sidescrolling Bushido Blade

War for Cybertron is probably the single greatest transformers game I have ever played. the vehicles handle great, combat is a little repetitive but fun, and the story has taught me things about transformers I never knew before. The jet sections are easily some of my favourite and this is topped with the fact that you can even be a jet transformer in multiplayer. Pretty much a fantastic game and I wish more of my friends had it so that I could try the coop.

Do you like killing giant monsters with robots? Do you like overarching storylines that all tie together at the climactic ending? Do you hate helicopters?

If so, this may be the game for you.

Loads of character customization, huge monsters, new vehicles, new weapons, MASSIVE boss battles, highly varied environments
The only problem I have with this game is a lack of online presence (every time I played there were plenty of online campaigns but no one in deathmatch etc.)
