Throne and Liberty is not what people think.

It is far from a pvp focused game. It is far from a p2w game. And its everything you could want in an MMO. It just needs to keep the update. Which I believe it will.

I have played since release and dropped 30 bucks into the game for the currency. Since then I have only gained it by selling on the auction house. So I still have my initial 30. I am in all purples but not traited. Some traits are coming along but its the reason I still log in everyday. To get my duplicate gear and increase my traits.

However, there are really OP players and many of them are whales who are p2wpoint, the worst thing about this game is that the pvp is heavily gear based making pvp a little p2w. But after 2-3 months of playing you can be right there with them. So if whales get a headstart so what. However, if you are here for the pve experience, you dont need to spend a dime so freeload all you want.

The game has released a ton of content since release. There is challenging content, there is rare loot, and a great community full of healthiness. Ofcourse some toxicity as in everything, but overall if you are looking for a new mmorpg..stop looking.

Ignore all the bad reviews and give it a shot.

Well I cant say anything other than extreme disappointment. The game is dead and has no future. I actually enjoyed this game and got 250 hours out of it..but most of that was assuming that there will be more content to play. Truthfully this game has no reason to have various builds and really doesnt even have any challenging content. Invasions were a great start but people complained and devs made them super cheese. Regardless you could only earn hailey through playing these invasions..which is a complete bust. Devs were too focused on the shop and battle passes rather then releasing meaningful content. Sadly this game is just not doing enough. June 30th release. Now is nov 6th which makes 5 months they have released extremely minimal content to the game.

The game actually has a really unique and enjoyable core but thats all it is a core with no endgame. You get addicted to the fun combat and various characters and grinding parts/gear..but thats really it. Its a grind to grind with no real purpose.

Releasing a new character a few weapons and a new colossi is nothing but adding whats already in the game. There are over 28 characters and endless weapons. Try making something challenging that makes it fun to use different characters/weapons/builds. Not these cheese colossi that take 30 seconds to run thanks to broken builds.

Most people with 250 hours were just chasing more characters and leveling their weapons but truthfully for no good reason.

Not to mention the devs actually laid off a ton of people despite the insurmountable money made.

Another hit and run game which ditches their community once they released and stole your money promising longevity and a game with many many seasons. No, it wont happen AGAIN.

Imo go play throne and liberty. It released in september and already has more content then this piece of crap game.

Great game, kinda understand cosmetics people locked behind pay but game still has enough going for it you can support them with a couple dlc and call it a day. Game is grindy but fun grindy. Alot to do to keep you occupied. Gives me ac but explore vibes. Only think I cant support is the ability to toggle invincible with no penalty. Cheese mode. I support the game hope dev continues more content! The world is already huge but more development isnt a bad choice for this style of game.

The game is fun but lacks some serious things. The game is on mobile and sounds like it has way more stuff so obv thats a huge red flag. Dev needs to get steam game to same level. Makes 0 sense why you would sell a game with half the content and not just update it.

Secondly, there is a real lack of exploration, and reason to venture out and explore. The game is literally follow main quest, make money and buy equipment. There are no rare spawns, rare items to get as drops, etc. Just literally farm gold and buy. The game couldve been 10x better if you FIND your loot in the world..and there was alot more places to grind mobs for gear. But most of the world is walking and the places are only good for quest. Brutals is pretty much the only thing the game has going for it in real content other than story.

This game is a bootlet exiled kingdoms without the side content dungeons loot and amazingness.

I love the style of the game, the turn based gameplay and gear how everything works. Its just that the actual content lacks you know open world content.

SUPERB Amazing game. Hats off to the dev for succeeding in a very unique tough concept. I love it personally although wish it had more cool gear or cosmetics to get. I cant really alter my characters appearance and weapons and armor have no visible difference. Items that were really rare and htf and lucky that were rewarding. However it is good as it is. My only gripe is the way the campaign is set. I prefer not to be able to manually save scum bad rolls but at the same time losing and dying or losing stamina permanently is also no good. So I will enjoy the game and save scum as intended but it would be alot cooler if I was forced to deal with my decisions and bad rolls. But nothing permenant. Ironmode exist but its much more extreme due to certain conditions.

With that said, go into this and enjoy without being too critical on what happens to you. You will learn how to succeed. Super unique rpg and im really enjoying it.

And we just got another huge content update 2 years after release. Absolutely astonished by this game and looking forward to however many hours this game offers.

I have mixed feelings about this game. It seems kind of abandoned but maybe just never got the support it needed. Overall its great and super fun for the first 20-30 hours. Then after that is kind of a grind with no real reward. The legendaries arent really that much better in fact I still have full purples over legendaries. There is no reason to do dreams, although fun. And after campaign and nightmare x the tower is fun but really nothing to keep you into it at this point. If the game had more of a complete end game and more to do once becoming decked out and full stats then yes.

Overall though, if you enjoy turn based combat in this style which is 100% shown in trailers then you will love it. Its fun enough to warrant the price for sure and enough for atleast 20-30 hours. It was so good, I dumped 30 hours in a week. Just became a little disappointed by end game but I did get my fill out of the game I suppose.

A game made to make money for free achievements bc its terrible. But then they scold you for being a trophy hunter. Terrible obnoxious narrator. Boring combat. Go play dust.

This game excites me. It may not be a 10/10 but it definitely hits the mark in a day and age where nobody does anything right.

I ask myself all the time why isnt there games in which you can join up with some randoms and kill stuff, or dungeon crawl, or do anything together. This game takes that idea and makes it simple. Join up, do missions and kill. There really isnt much games you can group up with randoms that have some rpg elements to the game.

What will matter is how the devs handle the game, which seems great so far. If they keep this game updated for years to come it could be a really fun long term game for people to sink time into. The key is for lots of content and replayability. The procedural stuff is a great step until people feel like they have done it all.

What I really like looking at the roadmap is that they just want to add new enemies and guns right now instead of trying to add more content such as chapters. I think the whole thing that will make the game is focusing on keeping it fresh by adding new enemies, missions and loot. Hope the devs consider using drop rates for cool stuff. The $25 buy in is a great price to support them and see what other content they can make in the future to keep into our characters for years and pay them more moneys. Also feel free to add a ton of achievements, hard easy doesnt matter.

As for the gameplay, they definitely take some things from games like borderlands and other alien shooters but thats not a bad thing. EXCITING!

Edit: I really hope this game gets a ton of content and years to come as right now it definitely doesnt have alot. Im sure it will become a full form totally worth it but these types of games really ought to make a longterm community. WE will see.

Great game, enjoyed my 8 hours. However depressing its been extremely short and in roughly 2 years now no new stuff to really dig into. Its a shame, death trash isnt a super hard game to develop given the graphics and whatnot. I was really hoping this game would evolve into a good 150-200 hour deep single player rpg such as exiled kingdoms but at the pace its going it will never happen. Im assuming eventually I might add 10-20 hours but thats not nearly enough what this game deserves. While its still good for the 8 short hours I cant leave a negative review.
