It's Forza.

Insanely regular updates & bug fixes, full of content (especially consider early access), massive scope, even in comparison to other games of the genre and it's incredibly addictive.

Factorio on crack.

This will kill your PC with how demanding it is, but the game itself is fantastic. Only played for 2 hours so far and this is the first time I've ever felt truly in a real city, with the size, scope, number of NPCs etc. Game is looking like it's going to be amazing!

Only played for 3 hours so far, but this is everything Fallout 4 should have been.

Interesting characters - check
The aim of the game is to roleplay and not build bases - check

♥♥♥♥ Epic Games for making me wait a year to play this though.

This was probably revolutionary / fantastic when it first released, but it's really not very good in 2020.

It's an extremely faithful port (AFAIK) but, as a result, is missing out on a whole bunch of QoL features that would make the game much better in today's climate. Basic things like being able to map weapons to more than 2 slots (as your typical controller now has 4 shoulder buttons, instead of 2), being able to see a proper map of the area, actually knowing why you're missing 80% of your hits, what level you should be for that stage of the game (is the boss simply hard, or am I just really really underlevelled because I've not afk grinded?) and lip syncing would all help significantly.

Right now I can't recommend it - go buy Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII or something similar instead.

Here we are, the "No Man's Sky" of Indie Games; let's see if opinion of it changes like No Man's Sky.

The game is promising, but there are several reasons why I wouldn't recommend this game at this moment in time.

1. The price is too high for what is currently available, especially when you consider Epic Games gave them a large chunk of money; you'd expect the price to have been subsidised as a result.
2. The developers are asses, which is especially disappointing when you realise they're the guys behind Sanctuary & Goat Simulator.
3. You are forced to use EOS, even if you're not using multiplayer. I certainly don't want to support Epic Games and the introduction of exclusivity to the PC Marketplace and I know a lot of you feel the same way! Using EOS has a knock on effect (I presume), as there are a lot of standard features missing such as achievements and trading cards.

I'd recommend getting Factorio instead of this. It might have 2D Pixel graphics (which put me off for the longest time), but everything else is much better.

Edit: No Man's Sky has just introduced crossplay "despite" using Steamworks. It'd be great if the developers could therefore integrate Steamworks into the game and just get rid of EOS...

Game is fun.

First of all, ♥♥♥♥ 2K Games for the arbitrary 6 month delay.

Anyway onto the game, it's basically the same game as Borderlands 2, the only notable change is that you can grip ledges. It's a fun game, but not as good as Borderlands 2, the story is worse and they increased the legendary drop rate at least 50 times (I finished Borderlands 2 with what, 4 Legendaries, Borderlands 3 with >100) which makes the loot system pretty pointless. The level cap is a lot lower, you will easily hit the cap during the first playthrough let alone second playthrough.

The perfromance is also really bad, I have a GTX 1080 Ti, i7 6700K, Samsung 950 Pro & 16GB DDR4 RAM but I'm having to run it on low to maintain 60FPS.

I wouldn't buy it for the current price, especially with the season pass being extremely expensive. I'd get it for 50% off, but the base game is not worth £50 and the DLCs aren't worth £10 each (so far).

It's Halo on PC.

Never was a fan of DBZ as a child (I also didn't have access to Sky!) but I found this game rather fun.
