((Veteran hunter since them old 2004 days so I will try and leave my biases at the door.))

Coming from a strictly ON RELEASE review, this has been one of the better AAA titles that has launched within the past few years with minimal to low issues on day 1, from my experience. (I do notice some funny renders and frame hits at times but it is a low and short-lived experience, clicking off screen or hitting my Windows Key has stopped it for some reason as well.)

While there are elements of the game that hit my machine hard I went in with the beta in mind knowing I NEEDED to adjust settings to match my machines preference. After that I've been sailing smoothly 75+FPS Average on High Res Textures with a mid-tier machine.

We are getting to an era of gaming where developers simply set a "Default" setting for consumer machines and any hope of "Auto Detect" working is practically thrown out the window. So, while I did turn a number of settings to "Med-Low" or straight up OFF, my game looks beautiful and I have a number of screenshots and recordings to back it up. (High Res, 8X filtering, High Mesh)

The game itself plays very well and tries to be seamless with Multiplayer "Jump-in/Out" mechanics. While I Love the Monster Hunter Series, I do miss the days of a "Separate" online hub or city where I can meet with friends and set up "Guild" quests. I do understand they are trying to go with seamless cut-scenes to game-play and don't get me wrong those elements do look fantastic!! But don't really matter for multiplayer as you will find yourself making sure link parties and invites are being sent out to make sure progress can be shared etc. while also being on the same page/quest making it a little cumbersome to progress together.

(Also we had shared multiplayer Cutscenes in MH4~ So I would really like to see my friends alongside me in future multiplayer updates Capcom~)

I can't give a rating without being bias but hopefully my review has hit some areas of concern for many of you. It's a great game day 1 that will only get better with any patches that get pushed out. Day 1 has shown great promise of what Wilds will bring to the MH table and I can only expect some amazing Collabs and returning friends~

I'll see you all in the Halls Hunters!

- Sincerely Yours,
Guild Knight, Damien V.

~A literal trip inside your mind~

I wouldn't have expected another title to pay tribute to the Wario series so soon, let alone the WarioWare series.

MINDWAVE does an excellent job of paying tribute to that series while keeping it's own very fresh blend of Art and Story that simply: Drips Style~

This series is a gem, I thought the first was a solid remake and nod to Blaster Master for NES, but as I played through the series it's clearly it's own story in the Blaster Master Universe that ties in some existing threads to make the story very interesting.

I'm writing this review to inform people that if they had enjoyed the series like I have, to support this game and the creators. There would be a 4th installment if the demand is there but for many indie series if there is a time that goes to long it gets left alone.

That being said, this is a great "Tie-off" to the series. It seems like the devs love the Blaster Master Universe and didn't want to rush things with this one, very great job!

Would love to see a BMZ4 but the series is a fantastic trinity as it stands!

I have HOPE that they fix and update this pack to actually include the neon blue and black costumes that seemed to be locked behind console editions of the game.

This is in no way worth the $15.00 standalone, to be included with the deluxe is not bad and I support it when they choose to address it. But currently there are some decent color swaps but for the price? Not worth it.

Currently online requires the attention so i have no clue If/When this will be addressed.

As a Co-op enthusiast I can gladly say that the 4-player mayhem that this game can cause is well worth shelling out the $4.
If you want a quick review here is my take:

Pros:
-Fast, easy to get into game with simple game mechanics: You get an axe, you get a shield......go nuts!
-Easy to pick up controls with controller support.
-CO-OP!!!!
-Nice retro feel
-Quick gameplay (you can jump on a few minutes and play through a few rooms and then just exit and it saves.)

Cons:
-Permadeath (i personally like this it adds challenge but some don't care for it)
-Music is good and does the job, a little more selection wouldn't hurt and switching tracks instead of repeating would be a nice add.
-Like the music issue, The dungeon could have more variety with the walls and textures.
-I used to have some in-game issues but they have been patched so the team is always testing for any type of bug.

The Pros really outweigh the cons when it comes down to it.

To put it simply, Its just a fun pixelated Rogue-style game that adds Co-op and carnage to your day!
