Potion Craft is a unique game in which you craft potions (big surprise!) by using various tools and ingredients. The game's major draw is its detailed animations that occur with virtually every action the player performs, as well as the novel art style. The way the ingredients transform into an impalpable mush or powder with each motion of the pestle, picking up the processed ingredient then physically dropping it into the cauldron, pumping the bellows to add heat to your concoction, manually stirring the contents, and diluting it with water from a sensitive volume-controlled ladle all contribute to a digitally kinesthetic and gratifying experience that keeps the player engaged, and lends generous control on minute aspects of the potion-building process.

After several hours of gameplay, I can confidently say that Potion Craft, in its current state, is a high quality, polished product, but does leave a bit to be desired, as eventually one will have experienced much of what the game has to offer. But considering the game is in early access and the developers seem to be coddling their product and listening to the community's feedback pretty well, there seems to be hope for a much more indulgent experience down the pipe in the future, which has me optimistic. For now, I have faith that Potion Craft is a great foundation for whatever the developers have in store for the future.
