Back in the day:
1) Download 3DMark for free.
2) Install.
3) Run test.

Today:
1) Buy 3DMark for $35.
2) Install.
3) Launch.
4) Realize the real test is DLC.
5) Install DLC.
6) Re-launch.
7) Try to start a test but click off the screen, test fails.
8) Re-launch the test in windowed mode.
9) Finish test.
10) Create a future mark account to see your results.
11) Get told you have too obscure hardware (GTX 3080), nothing to compare to.

Fun and well paced for the first 75%, then the grind goes from a 3-4/10 to a 9/10 and you spend hours gearing for each boss.

Don't play this.

Good mix of downtime life RPG and turn based combat. Characters are fun, music is great, and combat stays entertaining. Do turn it up to hard though or all the trash mobs will get a bit too repetitive.

Speed running except you don't have to waste years of your life to start having fun

Bioshock, except with more storytelling and space.

Coop is a mess and isn't unlocked until hours into the game.

Everything else is just pure jank. Combat is drawn out and nothing is telegraphed and climbing around feels floaty. The maps don't feel like they were designed to be doing parkour, nothing flows into anything else so you're always awkwardly stopping to look around or running into dead ends.

Go play the first game again instead.

The game is, well *was* amazing, and playing on an old version still is a great experience. I can still recommend that, google it.

Playing on the up to date version however is awful. The performance is awful and the interface on the Vive has been broken for YEARS. Hard to believe how far they've let this game fall.
