Spent several hours working my ass off setting up perfectly laid out and organised farm, only to trip over a sandbag and get eaten by a zombie.
Then I bought Project Zomboid and was able to put the pains of 2021 behind me.

Don't be fooled by this games overbearing cuteness.

I was sucked in by its deceptively endearing appearance, and I enjoyed it. A lot.
But as I continued playing, I found myself spending more time and effort into this seemingly 'casual' game.
It came to the point where I had to step back and look back on my ranch, only to discover that I had become a monster. These slimes were no longer objects of adorableness, in my mind they were nothing more than machines, fueling my maddeningly efficient farm. They were blissfully unaware of their captivity, smiling away their endless days, happily living as cogs in this churning machine of industry.

Never before have I felt quite so guilty while playing a video game. Plorts had turned me into a cruel tycoon, caring only for ever more profit.

Now I can quite happily say that all of my slimes are free-range. My ranch has become a carefree habitat where these slimes can bounce along to their hearts content, and I only take the plorts I need.


9/10, would go re-evaluate my perspective on industry again.

I very much recommend this game to almost everyone.
