It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable that Valve is actively making money off this game yet is okay with the game being damn near unplayable for myself and many others with the bot issue that is plaguing their game. This hurts their reputation as a studio and makes me not trust them to protect their other more popular games as well as the upcoming deadlock if they are completely okay with the cheating issue plaguing their games. Their lack of communication has become very frustrating in an era where most Live Service games are relatively transparent about what content is coming to their game and what gameplay issues are being addressed, the model isn't perfect and some games actively ignore certain problems but it is atleast good to feel like our voices and concerns are atleast being acknowledged instead of feeling like we are just shouting into a void like we are now. I was hoping that with release of CS2 they would change their stance and that they would adapt and become a more transparent studio but that clearly hasn't happened and it really shows with the cheating problems plaguing both CS2 and TF2.

Most fun I've had with Halo since Reach given how much time I have put in within the release. Progression however is absolutely god awful even for free to play standards. Yes they acknowledged how bad progression is but they knew damn well what they were doing with this progression and the store front not to mention the free event is a complete joke with what it offers for free players. The store and battle pass are not designed for everyday players and was clearly made to go after the whales who fork over $2000 a week after sniffing gorilla glue.

The gameplay is fanastic but this live service model makes other games look generous and that definitely says something. If you are someone who enjoys grinding out battlepasses or want better value from cosmetics then go look to other games because this one was literally selling the color white for $20 last week and this week they are charging even more money just to make the new free armor core look actually cool.

I'm mainly just playing the game for fun and I'm not paying for any of the BS that's on the store. But even then that's gonna have it's limits due to how many game modes are missing alongside some mechanics designed to frustrate the people throwing matches to complete challenges.

Decided to run in head first into nightmare and now I get ptsd flashbacks when I see anything with a blue aura.
