Good graphics, alright gunplay. Even the first 10 kills feel kinda satisfying.
Then it hits you... You're just shooting bots. It never felt so lonely playing a "multiplayer" fps.
This is WW2 meets the "dead internet" theory.

This is the "HOT NEW GAME!" you are looking for. Good alone, even better with friends!

Multiplayer is a bad experience.
Poor sound design and damage feedback ruins ranked play
Playing objectives is the least rewarding part of the game modes,
this is being reinforced by having none of your ingame performance affect the crazy slow battlepass grind.

Perfect way to scratch the board game itch when you're unable to meet in person. A lot of great boardgames available on the workshop some of which are really hard to come by as physical copies or some that are huge timesavers when it comes to setup.

Punch trees, Kill pigs, build houses and get killed by skeleton archers. This minecraft viking reskin is well worth the time and monez!

It also adds a whole bunch of other content. If you're looking for a new co-op survival game this is it!

The reason i bought the game was to jump in to multiplayer an have a go at it with some friends, so i have yet to evaluate the singleplayer component.

I have encountered an almost game breaking issue within the multiplayer component of Hero Siege.

During the process of trying to launch multiplayer i was prompted with a screen with fields labeled; "Username:" and "Password:". At first i thought this was a simple mistake. Then i also noticed a button saying "Register".
What is this i thought. some sort of newsletter? surely nobody would release a game on steam without incorporating the steam API.
Boy was i wrong... So against my better judgement i went through with the registration.
The lack of feedback from the registration form had me clicking the submit information several times. This all resulted in the message "Account name already in use"(never happened before because I'm super creative) and finally "Email address in use" which was a sign i had actually managed to register.

But wait, there is more!
I even thought to myself well, at least now i can log in and play... WRONG!
You actually have to verify your account through email before playing. My mind went something like this "Well then let's verify the account." so here i sit 45 minutes later... no new mail, not even in the spam folder. I'm starting to suspect my Hogwarts application might arrive before i get a chance to play, which would be a shame since it's already 10 years late.

The developers even acknowledge the fact that the verification email takes a long time to receive(up to 30 minutes) and also mentions the issue is not on their part, rather on your mail service which might delay it. That's where they are wrong. There is no need for a separate account service in the first place!
