I will start by saying I understand others are experiencing some awful optimisation and I know ports lately have been absolutely awful and ruin any good and fun time you might have had with the games you bought.

That said for me the game is running at steadily 78 fps in closed environment and 65 in the open world with some stutters along the way.

I have everything maxed, with RAYTRACING enabled and fidelity fx disabled, I have also disabled all the motion blur chromatic bs and film grain.

While running the game with fx enabled on quality and raytracing disabled I was even seeing up to 120 fps.

GPU: 3080 ti palit (used)
SSD: Crucial P3 plus 2TB 5000mb/s

While playing the game CPU is anywhere from 30-60 % usage, sticked to 30 after the first few parts, and the GPU is going balls to the wall at 95% usage and giving me all its got.

Now that we got the performance out of the way lets talk about the story and gameplay.

So far I dig the story, it is going in a good direction and for a star wars nerd I am curious what is around the corner all the time.

The gameplay is so much more smoother then fallen order and the stances really bring out the diversity in combat, as a massive fan of dual wielding I was super happy to find the usage of the stance fast and fun.

Dynamic between the cal and his companions in the field is a new twist that I only experienced once so far but to me its more of a gimmick, not a positive or a negative to me.

Collectables have been vastly improved since fallen order and the appearance of cal can be tuned to your linking almost instantly, and I have to say I dig that we can make him look like a proper man.

9.2/10 so far in the first impressions (story can only go up so far, but the rest can only go down in quality), after I finish the game I will come back to rewrite the review and change my opinion then.
