Finally, after 12 long years, Valve has improved the situation with receiving damage after walking behind a corner.

"Slightly delayed tagging effects to reduce instances of players experiencing teleportation when taking damage. Delaying tagging results in a smoother experience, however players will have slightly more time to move at full speed when receiving damage. The delay can be adjusted on servers using convar sv_predictable_damage_tag_ticks (default 2)"

If we wait another 12 years, the CS2 netcode might finally reach the quality of CS1.6 netcode.

Still getting killed 2 meters behind a corner with ping 15. Also, still experiencing body hits even when only the upper part of an enemy’s head is visible.:steamthumbsdown:
