WAKE THE FRICK UP SAMURAI, WE GOT A CITY TO BURN

So far it's an amazing game, and my favorite game of the year by far. Breathtaking next gen graphics, fun gunplay, great story, great acting, and runs pretty well for launch day.

As for running well, I have experienced only a single freeze, a single crash, and some low FPS when driving but otherwise is running buttery smooth.

Getting 80-100 FPS on Average at 1440p Max settings + Ray tracing
With some optimizations and patches, I imagine I can hit closer to 120.

Upgraded my PC for this game, and it was worth doing so :)
RTX 3080 + 5600x was a good call.

Edit:
After 100%'ing the game fully I figured I'd come back and say my final thoughts :P

Pros:
- Amazing acting
- Fun gunplay/action
- Fun and interesting story
- Visually stunning
- Style up the wazoo

Cons:
- Bugs, more and more I played the more and more bugs popped up. Nothing game breaking so far, but way too many.
- Performance is fine but not great, with some fan made fixes the game gets a bit better with FPS, the worse being driving where FPS was cut to a third for me.
- How short it is, I beat the game in under 30 hours, 100%'d it in another 10 or so. Very short for being something made AFTER the Witcher series and something that was in the oven for 8 years.
- For how short it is, you'd think there would be lots of side stuff to do, but not really. Outside of side missions and gigs, only other things you can do is eat, drink, sex. A real bummer to have such an open world and not have any bar games, arcade machines, BD/Hologram games, etc to do.

TLDR:
It's a great game, it's my favorite game in the last few years, and it is a blast. But it's way too damn short. Hoping once the bugs are ironed out they focus on some beefy expansions that bump that short play time to something closer to Witcher 3 as I'd love to come back to the game. But once you 100% it, there is legit no reason to play besides to drive around and shoot NPC's... so yeah..

I really enjoyed it at first, but I beat the entire expansion story in about 3 hours. If I wanna go back and go through the other stories of other teams (Assuming there is even different stories/characters and not just a team name change), I would beat it in about 12 hours. For a DLC that's HALF the price of the main game, which basically has an infinite replay value, that's really disheartening. I really hoped that they would have added more for that price. Maybe they'll add more teams/stories later but for now, I can't see it being worth the price tag. Would wait for it to be on sale, or wait for when they add more content.

When I saw the trailers, I was really worried because it looked very dated. It is dated, at least visually. The gameplay is very solid, and mouse/keyboard is actually really good surprisingly. It's a remake of a great gameboy harvest moon game and is really fun so far.

I am really glad that we are getting Story of Seasons on Steam and I hope this continues and that future games actually look like a modern harvest moon, instead of this dated look, that looks like it's trying to be exactly like Magical Melody.

Surprised that I liked this game as much as I have. I am always a sucker for "pawn/shop sims" and always trying to find the perfect one. This is pretty close, but not perfect. I assumed that this was gonna be like House Flipper, or any other "job sim" game that have the same similar art style and all are bare bones but functional but this game/dev team decided to be different and add flare to the game that really makes me enjoy the game more. The aliens/ufo stuff is fun and weird and adds a nice spice to a generic idea, and the animated transitions are a really nice thought and was something that they didn't have to add to make the game work or be fun, but did it anyway. Out of my 8 hours playing this (Pretty close to the end, with only 1-2 more barns/locations left) I have only encountered two bugs. Only one halted my progress in the game, and awaiting for them to fix it so that I can continue playing! :)

The only downside to this game is that there is only 12 locations. You CAN revisit old locations and they spawn in new items to find, but you'll be visiting the same places and the same puzzles. Would love to see more locations, and also would be really nice as part of the experience of bidding and winning homes/barns is that we can sell them afterwords. Since we technically own the property. Besides the limited maps, still very fun :)

The game has two problems that make the game far too slow for me. The story elements are okay-ish, but with how slow the dialogue progress and you can't click through it fast enough it just slows the game down way too much for me. On top of that, having to travel all the way back to your own, and back to your work every single day. Is just far too slow for me. Maybe others will enjoy this type of game, but I did not. The one good thing I will say about this game, is that it's a Korean game with a great English translation (At least from what I've played).

Dang, what a great little game. They even went and made it $1.59 during the sale which is insane. Legit check it out if you like Tycoon games like Game Dev Tycoon but with some minigames instead of just watching bubbles float around. The soundtrack is an actual banger. It's only a few songs but legit never got tired of hearing them! Game is short, beat it in 2 hours so it's really a quick and cheap game that's really good :)

This just came out, and is in Early Access so any complaints are surely to be fixed (I'd assume) by the first few weeks or months of its release.

Pros:
- You get to freely break down ships anyway you want
- controls are good
- really fun (At least to me)
- besides the tutorial, there is almost no hand holding
- based in thee homeworld series
- realistic and fun physics/sim

Cons:
- No FOV slider (I have motion sickness, so can't play for long sessions)
- Bad frame rate (Even with an RTX 3080)

Edit: Removed any problems that got fixed :)

The art style and trailer really threw me off at first as I just assumed it was a mobile port of some sort. But it's actually an insanely fun deckbuilding roguelike. I am currently at covenant 13/25 and I do find the game a lot easier than Slay the Spire but it adds new mechanics and flavor to the genre that it's well worth playing it regardless of the difficulty. Anyway back to doing runs CHOO CHOO
