The swindle is great however difficult game to play. I was lucky enough to get access to it day before release. It brings some fresh air into a genre and has some interesting mechanics. I like the steam punk feel without it being to overwhelming for casual player not into this sort of scenario.

The biggest concern with a game I have is that it's severely punishing for mistakes made early on in the game. If you don't do well in your first 10 days your remaining 90 days will be nearly impossible to complete as a game difficulty increases with each passing day.

Despite being unable to complete a game I enjoyed it immensely and I see a game having huge potential for replayability.

GIVEAWAY and REVIEW

Curious expedition is crazy Mix of FTL and Julius Verne books like “80 days around the world”. In this game you take part as one of historical explorers add discover forgotten secrets of lost lands. Game features fantastic elements like Ancient scrolls that actually work, surviving dinosaurs or huge gorillas that could tear you apart.

Game consists of 6 expedition each can be completed in approximately 15-25 min so overall to finish one run you will need 1.5h to 2.5h. I have been playing a game since alpha 7 and I am totally in love with it. Each new run is different, game is challenging and each expedition in the run is harder than the previous one, scaling nicely and easing new players into the game. I feel that game it’s worth it’s price in the current state already so it is money well spend.

Developers are very active on twitter and easily approachable. Curious expedition is updated on fortnightly basis and updates always include new features to keep the game fresh. I have started new lets play series in which I will feature all 6 expedition of one single run. So you can have a look at the game play.

Hero generation is a great and refreshing take on strategy mixed with adventure game. You take on a role of a hero and slowly build up infrastructure gather equipment for you heirs to take over your legacy and hopefully improve the land you live in. Game is fast paced very easy to understand even for total novice yet entertaining for strategy veterans. I enjoyed playing it a lot and I am looking forward to playing more in the future.

I however encounter some bugs that are worth noting game fps have periods of dropping to crazy low levels it makes experience a bit less fun at times but is not a big deal considering game is turn based.

I also had some problems with save files as they didn’t load properly at all time so it is something that will need to be fixed.

Apart of that I believe game will give you countless hours of fun and is definitely worth it’s price of $15.99 I would be more than happy to pay more for it.

KeeperRL is a mix of dungeon keeper and rogue-like adventure game with high replayability. In the game you take a role of mysterious keeper who embarks on new land. Your job will be establish colony and fight enemies. Game looks a bit like simplified dwarf fortress. You dig for resources expand your dungeon repel rides from your enemies and eventually go out there and get them. Learning curve is quite high but every attack on your dungeon is caused by the player himself either by too aggressive expansion building army buildings too early, killing peasants or even by chopping to many tree and bringing revenge of the spirits of the forest.

Once you learn the basic mechanics it is just a job of mastering it and improving with each and every new design of your base. Interesting twist is presence of the keeper. If he dies it's game over. He starts as a below average unit but with training, battle experience and researching spells you can train him to be able to singlehandedly take on the dragons. So it is fine balance between keeper safety and him gaining experience to become your ultimate weapon.

So far I have clocked about 9 hours into the game on steam and some more outside of it and I really enjoy the game and strongly recommend it. Actual map can be finished in about 5-6 hours at this stage of the game so it is nice one long afternoon game and then you can try again with new procedurally generated maps.

I can recomend Frozen Cortex as an excelent take on strategy that can open it ore to some of us who are not that keen on killing enemies. I think game has a lot to offer and is very interesting take on stategy games in general especily thier multiplayer aspect. I have played good few hours and game kept my intrest well matches last aproxumately 20 minutes so it is easy pick to play one match during some spare time.

I have played a game for over 3 hours now and liked it quite a bit. I can see a great potential and I am very happy with the speed at which development is progressing. Game is already playable and also there is still a lot to do like implement galaxies and more research for a price it is good buy for anyone. Cosmonautica is kept I light relaxing tone and is something you could play with your kids on the Saturday afternoon easily without being worried about any bad influences.

I think however that game could benefit from some changes especially how the time is handled. Being able to pause the game and speed it up more than at current level would help a lot in handling times when you are just flying in space doing nothing. Or when you need to plan something carefully but don't want to pay for few days of crew salaries.

Other thing I noticed was problems with buying new ships while in full cargo. You have to sometimes travel to 2-3 planets to get rid of cargo before you can buy new ship.
