Crash 4 is a great game, i'd go as far as to say it's better than the original trilogy, and they're fairly fresh on my mind as i've 100%'d the n. sane trilogy a few years ago (beat them on the ps2 via backwards compatibility as a kid too)

the only downside to this game as some have already pointed out is that it's brutally hard to 100% (or 106% for masochists) but to some... it's actually a positive.

controls are tight, level design is top notch, replayability it's the best in the series no doubt and the art style is absolutely stunning (but some may prefer the old art style)

so if you have interest in the crash bandicoot series (heck, even platformers in general) i highly recommend you give this game a try, but be warned it's really, really HARD, even to a self proclaimed crash enthusiast such as myself.

performing open-heart surgeries on dragons never gets old ;D

this is definitely the game i'd choose to bring to an deserted island with no second thoughts or regrets.

while the gameplay is quite decent and there's a lot of content, especially extra/post game content (extra dungeons, bosses etc) i'd recommend it for the boys and their interactions alone so i'm very biased

there is no middle ground when it comes to this game, you either love it or you don't (i know i did)

combat is fast and fun, fun to use parry mechanics (flash guard and flash dodge) lots of enemy variety, cool story/characters, GODLY soundtrack and the skills and the equipment system is not completely garbage needlessly complicated and boring *cof*like most Tales Of games*cof*

i have to say, Falcom really nailed it with this one, can't wait for Ys IX!

i have little to no nostalgia for the original but i gotta say i still had a lot of fun, this game is perfect for people like me who love spongebob and 3d platformers and/or collect-a-thon games , so if you meet the criteria above you can safely buy this game and you will most likely have a good time with it.

jokes aside, this game has a powerful life lesson (that i am not spoiling for obvious reasons) and shouldn't be slept on, if you like "earthbound-like" games or RPGs in general you should definitely give OMORI a try, you won't regret it!

once it opens up, in my honest opinion this game has possibly the best FF battle system ever, yeah the story can get a bit wack sometimes but the characters make up for it, they're all extremely likeable (my favorites being sazh, vanille and fang) the ost is also one of Masashi Hamauzu's best works IMO

don't follow the hate train, people who crap on this game just wanted Final Fantasy : Theft Auto (aka FFXV) and this is not it

well. all i can say is that this game puts any modern FF game to shame (yeah, i'm looking at you FFXV....)
