As a few other reviews have pointed out, this isn't Darkest Dungeon 1, and it's not a true sequel to the game in terms of gameplay, that being said, it tells it's story all the better for it, the focus of this game is hope, a push towards progress, a fight for a better tomorrow and it shows that off marvelously, I really don't think Darkest Dungeon 2 could have told it's tale nearly as well if it played exactly like DD1, DD1 is a struggle, a story of an ancestor's betrayal and mistakes, mistakes you must uptake because he gave into despair, but DD2 is a game about hope, and how there will always be heroes to rally against the dark, that no matter how desperate the struggle seems it's never a lost war, simply a misstep, a mistake, a fumble that can be corrected next time, now whilst I do miss the funny meme teams of DD1 and it's campaign style format, I fully understand their move to a roguelike format and I think this game is all the better for it. Besides, modding support is going to be possible soon and I've no doubt people will mod a more traditional Darkest Dungeon experience in before long.

Blood Is fuel.
Mankind is Dead.
Hell is Full.
Gabriel is in your prostate,
I just finished Act 2 of Ultrakill and I can confidently say it's possibly one of the best games I have ever played, now improtant things to know,
This game is absolutely for you if:
-You value challenging and skill expressive gameplay that rewards you for learning and wanting to improve at it
- You love retro looking games with a powerful stylistic choice
- You want a developer at the wheel who is genuinely unhinged
- Hampter
- You want and plan to use the butt plug support features
This game is not for you if:
- You want a casual experience, Ultrakill with test your abilities time and time again, making sure you truly understand the mechanics within the game
- You're looking for a game that blows your mind with how beautiful it all is, Ultrakill is not an ugly game by any stretch but it's no Elden Ring or GoW graphically.

With all of this in mind I genuinely could not recommend this game enough, it is some of the most fun I've had in a game, in a genre, I don't typically like very much, the developer shows how deeply they understand the concept of what's fun within their game and the way the game wants to be played couldn't be clearer from the weapons they give you and how they all interact, from bouncing shots of coins to punching your shotgun shells this game Oozes style and substance in every shot and movement, a very complex system of weapons and complex interactions between several of them, Ultrakill doesn't try to be cool, Ultrakill gives you the tools and let's you figure out what you can do with your insanely varied kit, and encourages you to weave them all together in a symphony of bloodshed and ballistics.

This game is an experience, it transcends all expectations and really shows the potential of the From Software Team, every ounce of this game had me chomping at the bit for more, From your first death to your final triumph you'll find Elden Ring is nothing short of a beautiful game with excellent design and bosses, a game so steeped with rich lore and thousands of unique play styles. There's no doubt in my mind you could put a 1000 hours into this game and still be finding new things to do. My one and only complaint about this absolute artwork is that Miyazaki's team still can't program a camera 11/10 absolutely worth the money!

Monster Hunter Rise, and now the Sunbreak expansion, Base game Monster Hunter Rise is a phenomenal experience I'd recommend as any player's first game, it's a strong entry to the series with an amazing roster with a good mix of excellent designs and strong thematic in it's new monsters, all of the new entries being based in Japanese Yokai. It will offer challenge to new players and even give a handful of veterans trouble at it's most difficult. Rise's introduction of a new movement system has also added incredible depth to the combat, offering Now the Sunbreak expansion, is what (for me) Elevated this game to beyond just a 'solid' Monster Hunter entry, Sunbreak added a ton of monsters, fan favorites and new additions alike, and all of the new monsters are truly amazing experiences, Sunbreak is as any master rank expansion to a game, a spike in difficulty, it starts off quite slow but very quickly becomes the best Monster Hunter game I have played since the very game I started in back in Monster Hunter Tri, shattering expectations left and right as you progress, new monsters feel strong and refreshing, and new subspecies feel unique from their base forms, bar one exception, and the late to end game of Sunbreak is where it shines, many have said it's reminiscent of 4u's endgame, of which while I missed out on myself have heard only good things about it, and I must say everything about the endgame of Sunbreak has felt amazing, as to not spoil the whole experience it promotes aggression and playing well, a very skill expressive endgame with a satisfying progression system, and it makes me very excited to see the future of this series and see just how much it can improve going forward, If you're a fan of Monster Hunter you owe it to yourself to pick up the game, it's far from the hardest MonHun game but it is at least in my opinion the most fun Monster Hunter has ever been
