This is the genre of game for me. Present-day geopolitics. Now they made the game even more interesting by adding playable industries.
But be warned, it's glitchy and sometimes makes my laptop overheat. So save the game frequently and make sure to email the developers with info on every glitch you find.

I've first played this on my phone back in 2018. Five years later, and the PC edition is super laggy and crash-prone. At least it's free.

If you want a free tool to teach about concepts of fighting climate change and the gist of the factions of socialism, this is the game for you. Frankly, it seems to not promote socialism at all, but rather the need for climate action, which is a good thing.

I've always enjoyed going to Europe. This game simulates the life of European societies... 10,000 years ago.

It's an OK game, which covers concepts of oil drilling and price fluctuations.

This is a game for the patient.

Does it have new features for more realism? Yes. And the new features make the game even better.

Did they fix the bugs? No. Savescumming is still essential if you want to recover your game before a bug hits.

I recommend this game if you're like me (i.e. interested in current geopolitics and willing to put up with a game that struggles due to its complexity). If you're not like me, then this game is not your cup of tea.

Remember, these games are an acquired taste.
