It's hard to say if I want to recommend this game.
This game is the best game about dinosaurus so far.
However, it is not perfect.
The game has great graphics
Realistic animations
It updates a lot. Sometimes too much. (But it's better than if it was left to rot without any changes)
It has really great sounds
Workshop
A good playerbase
Creativity

Bu-u-u-ut... developers are not really good.
Don't get me wrong, they are doing a good job for the game.
But not a good job for the community
They care only about official servers
They don't create any tool to help other server's owners. Not a single one.
They don't get what a real "hardcore" means. There's nothing hardcore in sitting afk in the bush for hours. There's nothing hardcore in running on the server where 60% of the population are rexes
And the balance in game is also not great. Some dinos are too underpowered. Some (hello rexes) are extremely overpowered which makes it pointless to play as any other dino. (Maybe that's what do they call hardcore? Survive on a server full of rexes?)
Selfishness becomes the main way to survive in this game. Kill or be killed. Sometimes it's good but this game is supposed to be a simulator. Not a death match.

So, what can I say? This game worths it's money. And this game wins because there are almost no normal games about dinos (yet)
If you want to play as a dino - get this game
If you want to chill - ...get this game and get as many friends as you can to protect yourself or sit afk in the bush and watch youtube. But prepare yourself for tons of toxic people. This game will make you rage. A lot.
600 hours in game. Still not bored. But disappointed by humanity.

Brothers, we are falling down! An army of 10 000 penguins are getting behind! They already killed our T-rexes and soon they will be here! From the front side we have 15 000 zombies. So many that the bridge can't take them all and they keep jumping into the water and dying. But we, 12 000 strong chicken warriors, will never surrender! We destroyed an army of turtles, won the winter war against US soldiers! We will die like real birds!

"Sean lied", "refund button works" and other negative reviews filled this game. However, there are not so many reviews about the ACTUAL game. Everybody talks about what is it supposed to be but nobody thinks about what is it at the moment or can become.

So this review is for those people who don't care about all that "omg he lied/bad ending/game sucks/I expected more".

First of all, I need to say - at the moment this game doesn't worth that much money. Yet it doesn't mean that No Man's Sky is a bad game. It's more like an Early Access game.
This game is not for everybody. Literally. You can compare it to walking in the park. Some people enjoy looking around, exploring, searching for new stuff without any point or actual end. Some people don't. Same is with this game. It's all about exploring, walking, listening and such stuff. It's an awesome game for taking epic and awesome screenshots. It's a nice game to chill after a hard day. It's a perfect game for dreamers. And it's a terrible game for those who are waiting for action all the way, storyline and the gameplay like in CoD.
You have a freedom to explore all the planets, all species. Some people say that random makes animals to look ugly, unreal, stupid. However, we can't know for sure if those creations can't be real. Moreover, random doesn't always make them that unlucky. Sometimes you can find something really nice looking.
Another problem that everybody complains about is that there are no those super epic space battles. Again, this game wasn't made for action. The main point of it is a calm exploration. Not the destruction of everything, killing the evil guy and living happily with a lady. In this game you have your own adventure and only you decide what do you want to do.

So fast cons and pros:

+ Nice graphics (not for everybody but really unusual)
+ Really a lot of stuff to explore. (if you are not looking for fast running point-to-point)
+ Epic space
+ You can be first to discover one of the best planets
+ There are probably going to be some updates to this game
+ Lots of freedom for modding.
+ Awesome ambient.

- Mostly all animals have a same colour
- Animal's sounds may become annoying
- Some colours are too toxic.
- Can be a bit too grindy (however, mostly all games have grind. At least you don't see here standart "I need eggs. Go kill hens and bring me eggs")
- No real point. You are free. You need to find what to do.

A pretty but overhyped game. Too high price for the current stage but maybe we'll get something more in the end.

If you are looking for something unusual, something weird then you are looking at the right game.
It was a very interesting idea to create huge cute slimes who are making different sounds and have a lot of colours and types. If you want to rest from all those hard battles and terrible teammates - Slime Ranger is a god choice.

Pros:

Tons of cute slimes doing cute things and making cute sounds.
Good and original graphics
Possibly more than 30 hours of gameplay if you are creative (making 30 giant tabby slimes who will explode every second and kill you)
A huge world
Tabby slimes
A good farming simulator
You can upgrade your "weapon" and yourself
Changing day and night

Cons:

In it's current stage doesn't worth that much money
Without creativity you will be able to pass this game in 5 hours or less.

8/10 but it's just an EA. If it's so good now it will be perfect in future.

"Hell, I have no army, no money, no buildings. Omg I have only one turn before I run out of gold!!!"

"Phew, finally got enough money for everything. Now I can sit and get units and maybe build something"

"Alright, I saw the bird comming and-- Holy hell!!! Is it hunting me!? It has full army and a giant amount of heroes!? RUN!!!"

"Good that I ran this way. Capture capture capture everything fast! It's comming!"
Turn 100:
"Okay, seems I am far enough. Now I will get an army. And maybe even another lord!
Turn 101:
"Yay, I have a third lord now! And no army for him... Anyway, I needed to start from something?
Turn 102:
*Critical success* Your lord has been killed.
"Fuuuuuuuuu"
Turn 120:
"The bird is dead? Wait, what? But I've just got an army huge enough to kill it... Oh, I finally get a peace pact from that giant faction!"
Turn 121:
"Vampires want me to join the war against the faction with which I got peace 1 turn ago... fu--"

In other words, Total War Warhammer is probably one of the best game from all TW. In has great graphics, amazing atmosphere, giant units with which you can literally smash your enemies. Animations are 10\10, sometimes you just turn off all hud and enjoy the battle. It's not a game. It's a film where you can control everything.
Moreover, it's a pleasure to hear all those voices. Your strong warriors shouting something like "BRING ME THEIR SKULLS"...
However, there are few bugs.... Sometimes the game crashes, sometimes it's impossible to move camera but that happens really rarely.
All in all, it's one of the best games and it must be recommended to everybody.

Worth to buy.

+ Sounds: very impressive, they are all around you. Making the nature full of life.

+ Animations: animal's animations are really cool. Sometimes you forget that it's a game because of how realistic some animals act, fight or even die.

+ Characters: those who you meet you will never forget. Their emotions are made really good.

+ Madness: Every Far Cry game is famous for it's madness, it's insanity, it's freedom. Same with Primal. Drinking blood, cutting off ears, taking drugs, violence and magic everywhere.

+ Taming: It's actually a very nice idea to add taming. All animals have different abilities, they are all unique. You can create so many tactics to kill enemies... This time you are not so alone. And plus you've got an owl which you can play and with which kill people.
Plus you can ride a mamooth, a saber and a bear.

+ Still Far Cry: Still far cry but not the same. You've got a lot of new skills, really cool weapons to craft. And the best thing - still that open world. But this time it's really alive and not the village, but a dangerous forests becomes your home.

+ Language: I think it's really great idea to create a new language instead of using english. I mean seriously, how can people from past know it? Ugga-ugga-tigre!

+\- Graphics: For this I can say - it is a same Far Cry. Official screenshots are lying. However, it is not the main part of the game, right?

+\- The story: It's new but... not new at the same time. Again you are the one, you must go and save your guys, again you meet a crazy person with magic powers who likes to drink really weird stuff.

- Bugs: They still didn't fix the bug when you cut the ground instead of the body. And some other stuff.

- Aim: Something weird happens with mouse sensivity when you aim...

So it is a very good game with an amazing atmosphere. After first few minutes in this giant world, after the first hunting you feel yourself as a prehistoric man, your inner beast wakes up and seeks for more blood.

*sees a Bronto.* I WILL CATCH YOU *hits Bronto's knee. Flies 10m away from dino. Dies*

-Day 5-
*sees a Bronto* I WILL CATCH YOU THIS TIME!!! *hits the dino with an axe. Flies 5m away. Dies.*

-Day 15-
*Starving* omg bushes where are you!? Food! Food! Blue ber-- *dead*

Where am I?

And about the new year's event:
*swims, trying to find a plez. Decides to turn back. Sees 10 sharks* Oh fu--...

Great game

Where are those freaking containers when I need them? What did I destroy? Why so many bullets? Where am I???
You are probably going to ask yourself these questions while playing this game. 100% hardcore with an amazing music and tons of enemies. Your finger will stick to the button "Fire", your eyes will bleed from thousands explosions and your face will hurt from the giant amount of facepalms you made when you accidentaly pressed "laser" instead of supermegaskill to destroy bullets.
Best game for those who like to kill enemies and shake a head with the great music.

A good game. I can't call it really hard. You can pass lvls really fast.
Drunk mode is fun. Last lvl is too drunk.
Easy as hell - press mouse or Space to win.
Worth it's price.

Not a game. Not a book. Something more than these things. Something awesome.

+ Beautiful soundtracks for all moments. Kind or evil, they show all colours of all incredible moments.
+ USSR, pioners, good old times.
+ Awesome storyline with a lot of ends.
+ Love, horror, action!
+ All chracters are unusual
+ A lot of comedy
+ Girls (if you know what I mean)
+ Really cool grafics, pictures.

I can't even say anything bad about this game. No, it's a masterwork. Some people say "Ewwww, anime!". Hell you! It's not so important with this story. One week has more life than the whole life. And in the end you understand that all that time you lived there with your hero.
