Another good game ruined by Stutter Engine's awful performance, I've tried every solution online and no matter what I do, my game stutters every few steps.

A downgrade on almost every level compared to its predecessor.

Over 2 months since the 2.0 update, and the game is STILL riddled with bugs. Every time they release a hotfix, they break something somewhere else. Currently, when I hire a new hunter that comes with certain perks, for whatever reason, I can't sell those perks. How do you even mess that up? There weren't any changes made to the perk system that should be able to result in such an annoying bug as this.

As if that wasn't enough, the devs also make poor game design decisions. In the latest patch, they just "fixed" the bullet penetration mechanic. This game mechanic remained unchanged for years, essentially becoming the entire meta of the game, and it just got turned upside-down on a hotfix.

In Hunt Showdown, being able to use its incredibly accurate 3D sound design, along with map knowledge to pinpoint enemies on the other side of a wall, made wallbangs one of the core mechanics of the game, making it one of the reasons it stands out in a sea of samey-feeling FPS games.

This core game mechanic was just completely butchered. Essentially, damage dealt through walls was massively reduced. Unless you specifically bring FMJ ammo, you can forget about being able to consistantly finish off enemy hunters through solid cover.

Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed. The current state of the game, even after the 2.0 "soft re-launch", leaves much to be desired.

This feels like the next step in the evolution of the coop shooter genre. Its like if Payday 2, L4D2 and Borderlands had a baby and named it "Minecraft". If you have a friend to play with you cant go wrong with this one.

This is a one in a lifetime experience. I wish i could go on that journey all over again, ill never forget this game and what it made me feel.

After many hours of playtime my save file got corrupted and the game started crashing when loading into new areas. Im extremely disappointed.

This is the edgiest game I've ever played, if I had been 13 the first time I played this it would have been my favourite game of all time. My theory that all Platinum games are the same was confirmed.
Also, memes.

The original works better than the remastered version.
I lost count of all the times the game crashed.
