Charming jrpg with a satisfying combat system.

Do you like clowns, indie SRPGs, fun characters, lovely art, or all of the above? Magellania may be the title for you.

Lots of interesting ideas peppered in; rather than a hard grid, movement is more freeform. Attack and defense have a timing component you can use to get the littlest bit of extra damage in, or keep your unit alive with 1hp! Robust skill system that allows for some very interesting mixing and matching. Plenty of polish to keep you happy.

if you're too cynical to genuinely experience anything, you might not enjoy this game. but there is a possibility it will endear you into giving it a chance. it may leave you wondering why you ever feel like that about anything at all. it may leave you with feeling determined to be better tomorrow. so, try it anyways, please.

Undertale is a game with a beautiful soul.

Undertale will charm and disarm you into loving things you assumed you would hate. Then, it will meet all your expectations about what a game "ought" to have, before surprising you with new ones.

Undertale is exactly the game it sets out to be, nothing more, nothing less. Turns out that what it sets out to be is an extremely touching, and well crafted video game.

I would recommend it to anybody.

Fantastic game with very fun and interesting combat mechanics--plays like nothing else out there, really. You need to pay very close attention to the story to piece together what has happened and in what order but once you do there is a gem to be found there as well. If not for being so short (though, none of the game felt padded in any way, so props for that!) it would be, I think, the best it could possibly be.
