Good fun :D

A good step up from F1 2018, still things that can be improved, but in general a fun experince

So, DiRT Rally 2.0. As a rally sim, it is superb, and has some of the best rally physics ever. As a game, it's lacking.

As mentioned, DiRT Rally 2.0 has some of the best rally physics, and although it still struggles a bit with the tarmac physics, it excels with the gravel physics, almost on the same level, dare I say, as Richard Burns Rally. The car is predictable, no random spins, and when you mess up, you know you messed up because you made a mistake.

Rallycross and the World Rallycross Championship is back for yet another game. This time it has its own mode, which can be played outside the career. New to DiRT Rally 2.0 is the 5-car heat start, from the 4 in DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally, and featuring the first 8 tracks from the 2018 World Rallycross season, including Catalunya and Silverstone.

Now, for the feature all desire the most from, career mode. Here, I will sadly have to say, DiRT Rally 2.0 disappoints, massively. It's very bare bone, and the only thing outside driving, is you can buy cars and engineers, like in DiRT 4. But, when you then get into an actual career, you will find yourself miles faster than the AI, to the point it gets boring, even for a casual fan.

All in all, DiRT Rally 2.0 is an amazing driving experience, but a bad game. I recommend this game, because the driving is superb, but you might want to wait for a sale.

This game's modding scene features alternative history mods for alternative history mods... should tell you everything you need to know. The main game may feel lacking after a few hours, but by god the mods for this game. Kaiserreich is a must have mod!
