Its come a long way since release, its really good.

Relic leaving SEGA was the best thing they ever did.

This module is the manifestation of the game of my childhood dreams.

If you grew up in the 90's, then this is the module for you.

I gave the game a second chance, and I'm glad I did.

It's a good game, and the devs put a lot of work into it, they are a studio worth supporting and I'm sure this will be improved substantially over the coming months unlike Company of Heroes

It's a great game but falls short in many categories, I might change my review if they get fixed, but basically it's lacking a lot of the charm of the ES and Fallout series, the random encounters can get repetitive and repeating dialogue lines happen way too often. The AI is totally stupid, but this is a hallmark of every single Bethesda game ever, ironically the most intelligent AI Todd Howard managed to create was in Oblivion. almost 20 years ago.

The shopkeepers in this game are just static cashiers that sit in one place in perpetuity, they lack the day/night scheduling of the previous Bethesda titles, which takes away a lot of the immersion I think those games provided. The NPC's really breathed life into those universes, despite how stupid they can be. Starfield, lacks a lot of the charm but still retains the stupid AI. Which leads me to the combat, it's not exactly challenging or stimulating. AI behaves in very predictable ways.

The ship building while at first glance is really in depth and amazing, it falls short in the second quarter. There seems to be a lot of disinformation going around about the actual length of the ship you can make. 40 Meters is the limit for your ship length as far as I can tell and see, I have yet to see any one provide any kind of evidence that you can make a ship beyond 40 meters, while I see people claiming this on forums and reddit, I have yet to see an actual screenshot of this. There is in fact an in-game tool tip on a loading screen that says 'Ships above 80m cannot land on planets' This is really misleading because it is inferring that we can make ships not only to 80m, but beyond. Clarification on this would be nice, but I have a feeling this tooltip is a skeleton piece of a DLC later on that might incorporate player owned capital ships ect.

It's pretty good, and has a lot of potential for mods. 8/10.

A rare gem in the otherwise bleak landscape of modern PC games.

I have been playing Warthunder since 2012. I have watched this game evolve from an infantile stage to what it is now. Many changes have been done over the years, complete overhauls of the tech tree and entire new generations of vehicles become implemented. I have fond memories of fighting MiG-15's in Korea with my F-86. Now, we have F-14's firing AIM-54 Phoenix missiles at MiG-29's, 25+ miles away. I personally find that quite amazing. I love how I have been able to witness the evolution of high-tier.

The game it self is one-of-a-kind and you won't find anything anywhere like it. It's the only game that offers what it offers. I personally have many things that I wish would change. I, like many others, have a vision for what this game should be.

I have never had an issue making money in this game, and I feel like an outlier in that category. I was able to consistently make money without premium, while playing Air RB, I think the key is to just do well, and not die! I think the vast majority of players that are currently in an uproar, are frankly, not that good at the game. A lot of this 'rioting' is reminding me of the BLM protests of 2021. It seems like its turning into this thing that a lot of people are just jumping on to, because they want to loot a Walmart and get a free Playstation.

While I agree that maybe the economy needs changes, and maybe the BR ratings need to be decompressed. I refuse to jump on this bandwagon and trash a game that has been a big part of my life, and many others. This game has succeeded where no other could. Like I have said before, it is a one-of-a-kind and for good reason, what they have going on here is a good game, its a good game! None of you people would be playing it if it wasn't. I see reviews from some of you with thousands of hours on this game and you have nothing but bad things to say about it, and to me, I find that hilarious! It's like watching a person in a relationship with some one where when they are together things are all good and great, but when they are not together all of this ♥♥♥♥ talking comes out. You can't help but think to yourself "Damn, that person is conflicted on the inside"

Perhaps economy changes need to happen, perhaps Gaijin has taken us for granted, perhaps things are not the best they could be. But can you honestly say any different about any other significant development company right now? I think we can all agree the current state of games as far as early access, and this live-service phenomenon is a mess.

You gotta pay the devil his due, and I'm here to say that Warthunder is a good game, you won't find any other game like it.

TL:DR, stop being ♥♥♥♥ and you might start making SL

Downgrade from Red Dragon.

-------------------

WARNO, while is probobly a decent game in itself, is not the successor to Wargame.

The fact that Eugen markets it as such, is what is so foul for me. They have learned nothing from Steel Divison 1, or 2.

They know they failed, and they know the Wargame community has been begging them for a true sequal for years, only for them to stubbornly ignore us, and Wargame. They neglected Wargame and stated that it will no longer be worked on. After the failures of steel division they realize that they should try to tap back into their 'loyal' fanbase. For weeks they advertised this game being the true successor to Wargame, but it is nothing but a reskin of Steel Division.

The entire exeprience is clunky and horrible, and feels so arcadey. The scale of everything is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and the visuals are so assbackwards cartoonish, its hard to take it seriously.

Wargame provided the distinct feeling that you were infact commanding a sizable army, with somewhat realistic values. Certain units felt powerfull, and potent. Everything in Warno felt neutered and just downright weak. The Morale system is funky, and just gamey in general.

Needless to say, as some one who has put in thousands of hours in Wargame, I had very high expectations for WARNO. Perhaps that is my fault for setting myself up for disappointment, but I'll be damned if I consider this a successor for Wargame.

Don't drop the ball, Steel Balalaika.
