As an original KS supporter, I have been extremely disappointed in the lack of progress. We have not recieved a proper beta and its been nearly 4 times as long as originally promised.

I don't feel this game is ready to even be sold to "early adopters" or whatever scheme you want to call it. Certainly this could change at some point down the line but save your money for now and if you are interested in the game, simply keep an eye on it and wait. It's really a basic prototype which is being generous IMHO.

You will also find that the community manager has no people skills and is difficult to put up with. If I was the community manager for a game that has failed to even meet one single promised goal, I would be kind and respectful to my critics. Instead, he is quite honestly a rude jerk which is unfortunante.

In the end, I hope the game is successful as it is a great concept but hold off on your purchase.

My original review was posted FEB 24th, 2014. It is now Jan 20th, 2015 and there has been "progress" as in they have released a few patches, but the game is technically in the same state it was in, they got a new community manager who is worse than the previous one, and there is no end in sight. If you buy this game, I will sit outside your house and call you a big dumb chump. Steam should not allow this sort of unfinished garbage even on its store.
