Present day edit: The Fun Pimps ruined it. Its a "sandbox" and I use that term very lightly because instead of being able to do whatever you want like how other sandbox games play, you have to play The Fun Pimps way. This means: no stealth because they didn't like that so they added unavoidable noise traps and zombies that are pre aggro'd in every POI. Also all the zombies took a course in Engineering 101 and know the exact weak point of your base so you are forced to make cheese bases or kill tunnel bases for horde day. You're also forced into only questing to be able to progress so you aren't able to loot the POIs that you want because if you loot without quests then you're actually throwing. They also removed empty jars and cosmetics in the recent update then slapped a fat price increase to 45 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars like you are actually out of your minds if you think this piece of ♥♥♥♥ is worth almost the price of a AAA game. Don't play the present day version if you can downgrade to the early alpha versions then it is pretty fun but don't waste your time. Sad to see so much potential go to waste.
