Dogfart

Well after 40 hours of playing the game almost perfectly fine, I can no longer play due to the game freezing up and crashing after about 2 minutes. Even if I leave the game on the main menu, it freezes up like clockwork. Tried verifying the game files, fresh installing, rolling back nvidia drivers, everything. Nothing works. The game itself runs fine up until it just stops entirely.

Mid range setup that's more than capable of running the game at high/ultra settings fairly well. I get 100-110 FPS indoors, 50-60 outdoors. No stuttering or problems prior to the crash. It just comes to a dead stop and bricks.

It was fun for a while, I guess.

EDIT: I found a fix:
If it ever happens to you, just go to This PC > Local Disk (whatever drive it's on) > Users > USER > Documents > My Games > Oblivion Remastered

Pull out the SavedGames file (so you don't lose your characters) and delete everything else.
Run the game and it'll recompile shaders and all that, but it's working fine again.

Whoever thought that minions need to be made of paper needs to be shot.

Character creation when?

Too buggy right now. Seems like a cool concept, but ran into numerous bugs that required me to restart the game to fix in only an hour of gameplay.

Already rife with cheating, don't bother.

Who knew reliving repressed memories could be so much fun?
