It just feels like a repetitive amalgamation of anything survival. Idk, go play FTL or Prey, more likely to get a fulfilling experience there

Now that Wreckfest has finally reached a proper launch, I can safely say that this is a good game. With a fairly active mod scene and a properly beefy single-player, I can heartily recommend this game for around 40$ WITHOUT A DOUBT. If you are really into the genre and idea behind this game you will certainly enjoy your purchase. Multiplayer needs a little more work done to be properly stable, but otherwise its highly enjoyable

had more fun in a gulag.

Despite being a prison break game, the idea ultimately flops with omniscient guards who can see and know everything a mile away. Shame the AI has to be as broken as it is for the game to be "playable". Not worth 5 dollars, NOT worth 20

Its a survival city builder.

You manage 3 resources

You have 2 "meaningful" choices to make

and yet it plays the same for every game

No.

After spending some time in the military sim sandbox, I have to admit that its a very compelling experience. While it certainly isn't for everyone, if you approach the game with patience and willingness to learn, there are few other softwares or games that really come close to the level of simulation that this game does. While games such as squad are certainly more focused and up to date on their mechanical prowess, the availability of mods within Arma 3 make this the go to experience for anyone interested in full scale infantry warfare. Overall, I've had 40 hours of fun and I look forward to the next hundred or so more to come

One of the blandest shooters ever made. There just isn't anything fun or unique about the game other than killing nazis. Just a trashy downgrade of DOOM (2016)

On a technical level, this game is somewhat broken with it constantly needing connection with an xbox controller to work properly. But otherwise its a great play for those who enjoy some good ol tacitcal espionage.

Things to note:

Movement system is kinda clunky, so you may have issues with that. Nowhere near as bad as arma, but it can be frustrating.

Play without markers on if you want a real challenging experience, seeing everybody through walls is good to get your bearings down, but makes the game too easy

This is less a combat game, but you can make it that way; just dont expect to be mowing everybody down like sam fisher. Otherwise you may want to play splinter cell blacklist

Be cautiously optimistic on this one folks, and only buy if you see it for 30 dollars or under. But I'll tell you why.

I haven't touched this game since 2016, but it has gotten much better in every shape and form. Vehicles, weapons, optimization, this game has become refined but its experience is very perplexing. Survival is supposedly the name of the game, but apart from collecting gear and going hunting for other players there is little else to do. Base building exists but the social aspect of this game is what keeps it floating. Still, I am not sure where this game is going but I hope its continuing its upward spiral. Mod support has definitely given new life to this, and perhaps more games can follow suit. Either way, if you have it in your library id recommend giving it another shot at least.

If you want an intriguing story that you have to figure out then I cannot reccomend this game enough. It is work on the player's behalf, but the way the game is paced makes you feel that all that you figure out is to your own smartnesss (which it actually is). If you want to be a detective start here.
