I've been playing this game for 13 years (I have much more than 512 hours, I just don't usually play on steam; I'd guess upwards of 2k hours total) and it's rough and ugly, but here's the amazing thing. The best part about RPGs, imo, is starting out a new build. But sometimes, those builds won't work out, because the viability of "wizard who exclusively uses daggers" might not be up to par. HOWEVER, in DDO, it can be! The system of reincarnation that slowly allows you powerful upgrades to your stats, and a lifetime of gear, can make virtually any build work, eventually.

Is it polished? No. Is the story good? I have no idea, I've never read any of the dumbass dialogue. Is it a good-looking game? No!

But do I have fun? Yes, and I think this is my Ol' Reliable. But, seriously, don't download it on Steam, just get it from the website lol.
