An awesome game you can pick up and play for ten-minute intervals. The missions in the game vary, but the best part is how you pull it all off.

You're afforded the freedom to solve the ships (which are really big, moving puzzles) in different ways. This means you can cheese the game on some missions pretty easily, but I'd encourage you to try it the "hard way" to get your money's worth out of it. It's a great addition to any library.

The Curious Expedition has a sleek interface and a charming art direction, but this belies the difficulty of the gameplay. Choices are important in this game -- the difference between defeat and victory can be a single trek in the right direction. This makes it immensely frustrating at times, but all the more rewarding when you do finally get the win.

A slew of characters and combinations helps to make this a quick, replayable experience that can pass 15 minutes or a little over an hour, depending on how long you want to play.

I definitely recommend this game -- it's done well and there's a lot of heart to it. Full price is well worth it, but it's definitely worth grabbing on sale if you aren't sure.
