Edited on 4 May: Due to my job, I move countries every few years. So either I need to only enjoy this game for a short time or break Sony TOS to use a VPN to continue with the same account. This information about being in a grace period needed to be plastered before purchase or during first time launch. Very anti consumer behavior from Sony, sad to see Arrowhead caught in the crossfire.

Edited on May 6: Sony received the Community's Orbital dislikes and repented under our combined might. No required PSN linking for now. Back to enjoying this team and county based war game.

Original review: Great multiplayer loot shooter. Come for the guns, stay for the friends, activities and lore.

New review: Recent updates to the game have removed hours worth of content and activities and will be removing more gear periodically. If you like doing the same thing over and over again to get the same gear for a new season, go ahead and knock yourself out. I'm not a fan of all the fear of missing out and slow grind

A magnificent continuation on the success of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, holding the spark of a revitalized franchise. Truly something one can enjoy even if constant failure is the name of the game, seeing as the premise is you lost the war the first time, so lets see if you can do better twenty years in the future. With DLC that adds to the lore and pool of fighters, weapons, and abilites while making the enemy equally challenging, and mods that can do just about everything, I think anyone would have a hard time finding something wrong with this game.

This game is a masterpiece, it is not unnecessarily complex, for pete's sake its cars playing sports. The team continues to add new game modes from basketball or hockey to the new rumble mode, which makes every game a highlight reel. They also do this with the modes and maps themselves free while hosting worldwide tournaments, only gaining revenue from a well modeled crate system and a handful of DLC cars. Looking at this game I would never have expected it to have so much content or so much fun from only $20, or less depending on when you bought it.
