Really creative, and the songs are pretty cool. There are a few levels that are *shockingly creative* but I won't spoil anything here. Definitely recommend if you enjoy rhythm games.

There have been very, very minor stuttering issues occasionally for me, but nothing like what the other reviewers are saying. I have Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM, and a GTX 1060. The game has not crashed at all, and my only real complaint is that in order to exit the game I have to quit the game, log back in, THEN I can exit to desktop.

This is the first Souls/FromSoftware game I've played and I'm really loving it so far! It's hard, as expected, but manageable. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Genuinely surprised the reviews are this mixed.

In terms of the Story I really have not made much progress AT ALL because I'm an idiot and keep forgetting to actually save before I die from a fever, a jaguar, or some random nonsense. You have to build a hut to save; there is no autosave and it does not save when you sleep. Which is fine! You just have to remember to save regularly when you're in good condition.

Overall there is a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get used to the groove of eating, sleeping (not on the ground), taking care of and/or avoiding wounds, and finding the right materials for various things you need, it's a lot of fun. But it's hard. It's brutal. Ruthless. There's a lot of stuff you have to constantly account for, and little tricks you'll figure out along the way.

If you've ever played the old Far Cry games (Far Cry 1 or 2), this is sort of like that. There is no traditional map or mini-map, there is a literal cloth map you pull out which has a grid on it. You look at your watch to get your coordinates, and figure out where to go from there. You don't just inject a syringe or "consume a medkit" to heal--depending on the wound, you have to craft a bandage, maybe combine it with herbs, put it on the wound, and hope it doesn't become infected. You're trying to survive in the jungle, what do you think you have to do when a wound becomes infected? If you know, you know. If you don't, play the game and find out!

I've only put in a few hours so far but if you're even "sort of" a fan of any rhythm game, you will enjoy this game. There are only a few songs available in the base game, but the modding community is already very active and with a few simple steps you can add in dozens of extra songs in just a few minutes (ranging from "I Fink You Freeky" to "YMCA"). I haven't had this much fun while sweating this profusely in years. Plus it's early access so it's only going to get better!

Although I've logged under an hour on Steam, I've put about 30 hours into this game on the Xbox One, and I absolutely love it. I purchased the game on Steam and it would crash every time it tried to save. I tried every fix I could think of, and the fixes suggested by other players when I posted my problem on both the Steam Discussion Forums and the Stardew Valley subreddit. Nothing worked. I messaged the developer, Concerned Ape on Twitter and told him what was happening. He suggested several fixes, none of which worked. After a week of us talking back and forth, I finally told him that I would (sadly) request a refund for the game from Steam. He said that was understandable and apologized that he couldn't figure out the problem. A few days later, he sent me a free code for the game on Xbox One and I have been addicted to it since that time.

If you even remotely enjoy any of the Harvest Moon games you will love Stardew Valley. It combines elements of that series with the combat from Terraria and adds its own flair to the mix. This is a beautiful game and is incredibly relaxing. You can play at your own pace, and you are not obligated to do anything at all. There are minor daily quests available, some more important permanent quests, as well as community restoration projects that you can access via one of two different ways depending on what kind of playthrough you'd prefer to do. There is room for massive expansion, or you can go at a slower pace if you prefer. I started slow and went to the mine daily, and have explored all of the mine while my farm barely takes up 1/4 of the land available. Other people have a booming farm within the first month, but this just further emphasizes how free you are to do whatever you want to do in this game.

The soundtrack is neat but after the first 3-4 days of a season it gets kind of old, so I generally put something on TV while I play this game. It's a good winding-down kind of game. But it's also very easy to get into the "well, just one more day" mindset and before you know it, it's 3AM.

I've already logged about an hour in this game after buying it about an hour ago. It's so much fun for being such a simple game. There's a lot more depth to it than I expected, to be honest. At $1 (or 50 cents when on sale) it is absolutely worth it.

I don't know what everyone is going on about, this game works great on my computer. I'm about an hour and a half in, and other than some relatively long loading time on one screen, everything has been running smoothly. If you enjoyed Human Revolution, you'll enjoy this game too.

I have a GTX 960, 8GB of RAM, and an AMD 8370 Eight Core Processor. No issues with framerate or MSAA or anything. The mouse sensitivity was really high at first but it was fine once I turned it down.

Also, sure, the microtransactions and preorder stuff is dumb, but I don't see that as a reason to leave a negative review.

Yes, this game is still very poorly optimized, and no there isn't a tutorial, and yes the community can be a little dickish at times, and yes the game occasionally has some pretty bad bugs, BUT it's still a very fun game and provides a pretty extensive Ark: Survival Evolved experience without forcing you to invest hours upon hours of time just to get a half-decent dinosaur. There are plenty of basic tutorials on Youtube or in the Steam Guides for new players to look through, and as long as you have a mid to upper tier gaming PC you should be able to handle it. But any less than that and it might not run (see: poorly optimized).

Having almost 500 hours in Ark: Survival Evolved, I didn't think SotF would add that much to the base game to cause it to deserve its own application, but looking back I think dividing the games up was a good choice. I'm rambling, but just know that I love this game and recommend it to anyone looking for an intense survival match.

I first tried out the original Mass Effect around the time that it came out, back when Hollywood Video was still in business. I was able to make my way to the very first beacon on Eden Prime until the game would be deemed unreadable by my Xbox and I had to restart the mission. I did this three times, then returned it and rented something else. Years later, I tried out Mass Effect 2 and loved it. Then Mass Effect 3 came out, and I loved it too. So I tried to go back and play the original Mass Effect on the Xbox 360. Good god was it hard to play, but part of that was my fault. I went straight to Noveria instead of doing any side missions first to level up. It was way, way too hard for me. Even years after that, I bought Mass Effect 1 here on Steam during a Summer Sale, and spent 33 hours on my first playthrough alone. I got chills when I was beating the campaign; it felt like another Mass Effect game (which, spoilers, it is) that only just came out. I also had an HD mod installed which made it look about as good as (if not better than) Mass Effect 2 and 3 on the Xbox.

If you're like me and got into the series late and are reluctant to try out the original game (because the controls are much more challenging than the other two games) BUY IT!!! It's so much better on PC than on the consoles.
If you've never played any Mass Effect game before and are just curious about the series, BUY IT!!!
If you played and have already beaten Mass Effect but don't own it on Steam for whatever reason, BUY IT!!!

The controls are a little awkward at first and the inventory system takes some getting used to, and the guns are strange in the beginning but as you level up you get so much better and fights get much more fun. My biggest piece of advice is SAVE OFTEN. I can't tell you how many times I landed on a planet, did everything there except for one firefight, then died during the firefight only to have to redo every little thing I did on the planet.

Like I said, buy this game.

I finished it last night and now I'm just waiting for ME2 to download so I can play through that with my 100% Renegade "Dood Shepard."
